Those highlights don't show a previous chance he created before he hit the post. On that one he destroyed a west ham player in a sprint(while the WH player was in front of him btw) from midfield all the way to the box but his final ball to a teammate was intercepted.

I don't want to jump the gun bc bigger talents have burned out but it's different this time. A tall lightning fast striker with shot power, linkup play, holdup and best of all he is humble. He came to play for us straight away without a question, that shows maturity and that he has a good head on his shoulders.

He cried after the final whistle vs Hungary. Just a lad born in England who loves his homeland.

All the talents that 'waited' for their diaspora country ended up sparking out and letting the hype get to their head. Broja has spoken about how playing with Albania helped him get back scoring before, when he was playing in u23 prem he struggled and only had 2 goals for the season, came with us scored a few and got his confidence back. Early international experience can be so valuable especially in a country like this which loves you if you score

A young striker with similar qualities(speed, height, etc) is Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina. He's regarded as potential world class and wanted by top teams now. He's an absolute starter for Fiorentina though so his value is crazy high.

The hype for Broja will be insane if he becomes a starter for Southampton and scoring goals. Especially with the EPL influence..

Lukaku is 28 years old. Absolutely world-class but he doesn't have that many years on the clock. After he's declined in about 3 or 4 years, perhaps Broja has gone on a couple loans, spent a season in rotation for Chelsea and took the starting spot :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag:

Wishful thinking but I hope Broja can succeed at Chelsea eventually. Usually their loanees end up getting integrated in 2/3 seasons (if they don't end up in that typical loop of loans and get sold) but in this case there is an overbooking in attack and Broja can't make a case to take Timo's place unless he has a couple good seasons at this level.

If Werner has another bad season and gets sold we could see him return next year if he can score double-digits.

Muci come off the bench and almost scored another worldie to rescue yet another game. Bet they'll bench him yet again.

Muci needs to get out of there. It's obvious he won't have any playing time, Legia Warsaw is not a massive club and not even the best club in Poland and he is getting benched every game despite his performances like it's Liverpool or Real Madrid. It shouldn't be that hard to start at a team that isn't better than Barnsley
