Muci would have good as an attacking option off the bench. What if we're down 1-0 against Hungary, who are we gonna put in? Balaj? Manaj? I personally think Muci is probably good enough to start right now but if Reja isn't going to trust him he should get minutes with the u21.

Such a weird rule that Broja can’t play today against Chelsea.

What has Uzuni done to merit a starting spot over Cikalleshi and Manaj..?RedFootballs wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 1:17 pm Ideally would like Uzuni/Manaj-Broja upfront but we will prob see Uzuni-Manaj as Broja nuk eshte titullar (only Uzuni is right now lol)
Or maybe he will go with Cika-Manaj
995 minutes played and is yet to score on a team ranked inside top 200.

Not everything is goals and assists , Uzuni has that energy that Manaj never will have. And he has 19 G+A in 17 games this year , granted its Hungary but he's performing in Europe too.
How many goals does Manaj have ?

Uzuni was one of the best players on the pitch against Hungary and was vital to our win. For that and his good performances with his club recently he merits it and also for opponents like Poland and Hungary we need his energy. We aren't beating teams like that on quality usually so we must beat them in work rate and physical aspects.
With that said :
------Strakosha------
Kumbulla-Djimsiti-Ismajli
Balliu-Bare-Gjasula-Hysaj
-------Bajrami-------
----Uzuni-Broja-----
Would be a nice lineup in that 3-4-1-2 Reja uses.

Uzuni was a big reason Albania had Hungary on its heels for most of that game. His constant running and pressure was at a level higher than anyone else. He also won several free kicks close to the box (and for Albania those are big chances).
Uzuni is the new Andi Lila (but a bit more skillful obviously). You need a few players like that to fight and get big results.

Uzuni
-995 minutes played
-2 goals against opponent ranked below top 200
-Goal every ~498 minutes
Manaj
-1313 minutes played
-6 goals with highest coming against 90th ranked Belarus
-Goal every ~219 minutes
-Winning goal of nations league group
Cikalleshi
-1359 minutes played
-9 goals (France, Poland, Iceland, etc..)
-Goal every ~151 minutes
If it was up to Uzuni, the match in Elbasan would of ended in a draw last month. Thank god Broja did not pass it to him! An “energetic” striker who cannot hit the target is no more than a headless chicken!
Notice the performance of Cikalleshi and Manaj at Poland. One scored a wonderful goal and the other won a huge penalty. Best players on the pitch!

Uzuni is not even a striker though. He's more of an attacking midfielder than anything. He's as much of a striker as Bajrami.
