Albania pulled off a miraculous upset in the middle of Portugal.

De Biasi was a clever man who could assess the strengths/weaknesses of players at his disposal, allowing him to properly formulate a decent game plan. He was a great motivator of men, a task hard to ask of an 80 year old like Reja.

To pull off the big upset, you need:
-the right game plan (knowing your own strengths and weaknesses)
-a great motivator of men as the coach
-a clear leader on the pitch to direct traffic and hold others accountable

Really makes you sick how everyone else can do it.
It's time to hire an Albanian coach, the 20 year long fetish with foreign coaches with cool backgrounds needs to end. Besnik Hasi would be a good choice, regardless of how it goes the next coach should be Albanian as we really need to see what an Albanian coach can do with the current crop of players.
Hasi as coach would be good, I agree we need to just let an Albanian coach try to lead this team. Its really sad that we have a veteran coach who managed Napoli and Lazio at Serie A level for years and meanwhile has made us look and perform worse than we were under an amateur coach (Panucci)

The Lazio and Napoli teams Reja was training came to Serie A straight from Serie D and they were just trying to not relegate. He has always used that 3:5:2 formation everywhere... we don’t need a fanatic coach that sticks to his idea of game and can’t adapt in this case the lineup with the limited pool of players we have. We were quite solid even under Pannuci with 4 back line.

Id even take Cana as a coach at this point. At least the team will be motivated. No one would talk back to him.

And he knows all the players so there is no need for him to take 1 year just to learn who is who.

We know that Duka will never give it to Cana. The next coach will be result-dependent. There are elections in the way for FA president althrough Cana can’t do worse than Reina or Pannuci.

Im done with this federation and structure. I switched off my tv at around the 55th minute. I have never done that before.

Montenegro and North M. can do it with worse players. As Im writing these lines Im laughing and almost crying at the same time. Albania will never use its full potential as it is hijacked by criminals and corrupted people

Uzuni needs to be "punished" and dropped from the team just like Manaj.

He needs to realize that he's not playing against gypsy villages like he does every week in Hungary. Missing 100% sitters in every NT game holds too much weight. And it's not an accident because he literally does it in every game, sometimes multiple times in a game. The chances he misses look harder to miss than score.

He scores in Europe against some pretty good teams regularly. I think it is a mentality issue.

Imagine that he was a good finisher and most of these 1v1s went in. He'd have single handedly carried our qualification. He has so much talent, speed, workethic, dribbling, but... He's missing such a key part.

If he can learn how to finish for us he'll be one of our best players. It's a big if tho.

Fans and media did so much to convice Reja to call and start him. He doesn’t even bring anything defensively. Broja gave hime 3 or 4 perfect assist against Smr and he managed to score only one. He seems a player that suffers pressure at NT level.

If he gets nervous and pressured even against San Marino then there is no point in having him in the team. Mental strength is a very important thing. Right now he's hurting the team more than helping it. Right now even Balaj deserves to play over him.
