His only problem is hes too lethargic. You can tell hes super talented. Hes just too inconsistent mentally and has to take charge.
Yeah he can be lazy af and lacks focus at times. But you can see the talent is there.

Just like Broja he has a big asset... a deadly shot.

It's a little annoying that only the low iq "bulldogs" are energetic. All our talented players are falling asleep.

At the age of all these “talented players,” the low iq pitbulls Xhaka and Abrashi held the top 2 seeds to 2 goals and took 5 points off them, qualifying us for EURO finals.

Albania can have another 10 “super talents” like Bajrami and they will never have the capacity to trade goals with top 20 ranked European nations (top 35ish world). Only sustainable way forward is by a more defensive approach.

Xhaka and Abrashi are talented, they have played in the Bundesliga (Basel for Xhaka) and European football for years. We're talking about the bums like Doka, Balaj and co.

Bajrami and Broja work hard otherwise they wouldn't be where they are.

Macedonia proves that you can have success with technical players and it's probably more sustainable since they've had success in multiple campaigns while Albania in only one(and that one had many outside factors helping in).

Ideally it has to be a balance between both. Ideally you want a bulldog to play alongside a technical player. You want aggressive defenders and energetic midfielders but who are also capable of attacking. If you can't create chances or score goals you wont win enough.

Broja proved against Hungary that talent matters.

Macedonia could not trade goals with top 35 world ranked teams either, as proven in EURO 2020 where they ate 8 goals and scored only 2, for a total of 0 points.

They qualified for that competition by beating nations ranked outside top 80 (Georgia 86, Kosovo outside top 100). In those qualifiers, they ate 9 and scored only 2 on the top 2 seeds (Poland, Austria), taking 0 points off them and finishing third.

One good qualifying campaign they had was WC 2022 but lucked into an easier draw, with only one team inside top 35 world rankings that they were faced with (Germany).

Bajrami doesn't contribute a lot in the defensive phase so when we play better teams he'll fade out as we have no possession and he can't get involved in the action, but in these NL games where we'll face teams more or less to our level he can have a big impact.

Macedonia beating Germany and breaking a century long record is more impressive than anything Albania did under De Biasi including beating that Ronaldo-less Portugal B team that was desperate to sack their coach.

North Macedonia beating Germany (13th ranked) in Duisburg was a hell of an accomplishment, but they got blown out 0-4 at home against them. Aggregate 2-5..

Albania with De Biasi beat Portugal (11th ranked) away by a single goal, and only lost by 1 at home. Aggregate 1-1..

I fail to see why we're comparing Albania 2016 to Macedonia WC playoffs. Both are very impressive.

I think the point is that Macedonia plays their best players and aren't afraid to play a system to accommodate them. They're also very aggressive in calling up new players. If Broja, Bajrami and Balliu were able to play for Macedonia they would be in the lineup day one. Broja wouldn't be benched in favor of Trajkovski but yet it's perfectly normal and acceptable for career scrubs to start over professional players for Albania. Albania seems to be the most nepotistic country in the Balkans when it comes to this and I think the connections that guys like Trashi and Cikaleshi has ensures their place in the starting eleven.

Small countries have to play their best players to win. England and France can bench a Benzema and be perfectly fine but Albania can't bench Broja and expect to be competitive.
