Sahiti called up for Kosovo. Still don’t know why we didn’t make an attempt for him. Once he transfers to Serie A the FSHF will come up with conspiracies on how he avoided us

If there is one good thing FSHF has done in recent years is stop calling up Kosovars. No drama, no refused callups and also an increase in talent.

The top 3 best players are 22 and under.

Increase in talent, decrease in bollocks.

Players refusing to play D, quitting 10 minutes in, faking injuries, playing selfishly, etc..

It's not true that FSHF has stopped calling kosovars. You still have kosovar descent players on U17, U19, U21 but number has decreased immensely because Albania has became third option for kosovars born on diaspora. Don't try to sell incompetence as strategy and the claim that FSHF has anything to do with "increase on talent" it's simply ridiculous. Asllani has debuted for our youth teams as 19 year old and the guy has turned 20 just few days ago. It was widely reported that father of our generational talent Broja had conflict with Armand Duka because feels his son is being mismanaged.

The youth players are maybe there to make up numbers but wouldn't be surprised if they pay some money to take part in and get promoted. These youth teams are very shady and irrelevant. For example a talent like Asllani has 0 caps for Albania u19 and u17. They are not calling up players based on talent or potential.

The only senior (potential) player FSHF has gotten since 2016(Kosovo Fifa acceptance) is Adrian Ismajli and that's because Ismajli himself reached out to Albania with his agent because he was unhappy with Kosovo.

It doesn't matter if Albania is their third or 10th choice. FSHF is simply not approaching Kosovar diaspora. If they did we would we hear about a bunch of refusals like we used to do. That's also something Duka has admitted many times in interviews too.

Sahiti isn't a Kosovar diaspora. He was a well established player with our U21 and I remember him being the best player on that team (not saying much). They didn't have to poach him or anything and he publicly made it available he's waiting for a call up.

Now you can make the case that he's not good enough for the NT which may or may not be true. But when you're calling up guys in the second division of Turkey or in the depths of Europe then I'll say he's easily good enough especially considering he has interest from bigger leagues. I also don't think we have enough wide players and players with pace. The irony is they'll probably call up someone like Dejvi Bregu or Jasir Asani instead.

It's fact that number of Kosovar and Ilirida diaspora players has decreased in the youth teams but i don't believe it is because FSHF approach has changed but mostly because circumstances. If kosovar wants to play for Albania the door is open so we can't pretend FSHF is applying some anti-kosovar strategy because that's simply not true. Bulku has tested three young players from kosovar diaspora last year on friendlies but none of them made it for qualifers probably because their level is shit.

I don't think FSHF has been aggressively going after them for whatever reason, even the other diaspora from Macedonia, its like we just ignore them.

Rather have them faking injuries than refusing outright.

This is what Albania was dealing with for years. Now it's Kosovo's problem.

If Kumbulla, Broja, Asllani, etc were Kosovars they would be playing for English and Italian youth teams!

Thats not a bad thing IMO, missing 2 pointless friendlies over important club games
