Upsets happen to anyone, as you keep saying.

Odds tell a different story though..

Iran NT should absolutely be favorites against an Albanian superliga team. The odds were spot on. That's my point.

Pretty sure the Iranian league is stronger than the Superliga. On sheer resources alone.

Odds do not change much over time, regardless of how many “professionals” are in the lineup.

For example, odds on average from the last time Albania hosted Georgia were basically the same as this time, although we have way more superstars now.

Albania - Georgia 1-2 (2013)
1 ~45%
X ~29%
2 ~26%

Albania - Georgia 0-0 (2022)
1 ~45%
X ~31%
2 ~25%

I actually can’t be fucked for this argument anymore especially with an idiot like Princ. I’m more of a fool to keep responding to the sexist fool.

Just recently Albania started getting a big amount of professionals so it will take a while for odds to reflect that progress. You have to earn the respect of oddsmakers and public.

Historically Albania has been as good as Moldova. Now it's time that changes.

May or may not happen..

My point is that from the information above, it is only reasonable to infer that Iran would again be favored to run through Albania, similar to 2012.

By the way, Iran was not ranked top 25 back then (53rd before kickoff).

Official website / the stadium itself . Otherwise I’m not too sure. Albania tickets have gone up. Paid more for them to watch England vs Albania than I did to watch Argentina vs Italy yesterday
