Stivi Frasheri has registered 40 clean sheets in 62 league matches through the last 2 seasons. He has conceded just 31 goals during this period..

What more do you want?

I guess depth is the biggest achilles heel.
What a big loss!

Albania will miss his accuracy at delivering passes to the other team..

That's because he's in a league where players literally can't shoot/attack. Every wonder why Albanian league games are so low scoring? It's not because Maldinis and Buffons play in that league but rather because attacking is the hardest part of the game and it actually takes more creativity/skill than anything.

This past week in the Alb league:

Vllaznia 0-0 Partizani
Kukesi 0-0 Laci
Skenderbeu 0-1 Egnatia
Tirana 0-1 Kastrioti
Dinamo 0-1 Teuta

That's 3 goals in 5 games which is hilarious because 2.5 goals is the average in ONE game in other leagues. According to your logic all Superliga teams have beast goalkeepers and defenders.

When you remember who will probably take his place it is, unless you think Ramadani is better ?

Low scoring week can happen anywhere..

Ballkani gives up the least goals in the league, just as Teuta did last season. Frasheri literally cannot do anything more to merit a call up.

Low scoring weeks happen nearly every week in Albania and Kosovo.

On average these leagues are much lower scoring than the EPL, La Liga, etc. Based on your logic these leagues have better goalkeepers than the EPL!

There is no denying that Stivi Frasheri has been the best GK in the Albanian and Kosovan league the last two seasons. All of this, while Thomas and Titi were warming benches in Serie A..

If he does not deserve a call up, no Albanian leaguer ever should get one. What an inferiority complex!

Unfortunately they shouldn't. It can't be inferiority complex when they are in fact inferior. It's reality. Levels exist in every sport and aspect of life. Some are better than others and that's ok! It's nature.

Albanian league clubs and players show themselves every year in the Euro club qualifiers where they get punked by semi-pro Maltese and Luxembourg teams. Unless they improve and prove otherwise they can't be trusted in high pressure professional games.

With Albanian leaguers like Nevil Dede, Admir Teli, and co Albania was getting beat by bad teams like Romania 6-1. You really want to go back to that?

How does Iran go into World Cup 2018 and take 4 points in a group with Spain, Portugal and Morocco, while conceding only two goals with a team full of Iranian league players?

There is not as big of a difference as you may think between the foreign and domestic products..
