Happy to see Sulejmanov on the list..

Not been great when given a chance with Albania, but deserves it after tearing up Superliga. He is too strong physically for that league. Calling up Balaj over Manaj is a head scratcher. Maybe punishment for not letting Cekici take free kick against Georgia last time out.

Bajrami as a striker next to Broja or just behind him might be the way to go.

He's a pure attacker and it's a shame wasting his talents on the bench.

Broja has COVID so he might not make it. Just wish we had a full squad for once. Strakosha pussied out too.

Strakosha pussied out ? He has no contract, what if he breaks a leg in a useless game and ends up losing millions, he has every right to sit out until his future is sorted.

If that's a useless game then every NT game is useless. These are competitive games that help you qualify to tournaments.

Fortunately, Strakosha has been dogshit and you can argue that Berisha has been way better in recent months. So not a big loss.

Hopefully Broja doesn't bail out. He actually needs these NT games for his club career.

It is useless , it’s the nations league. Who the hell cares really. And why are you ignoring the bit about him being without contract ?

The Nations league gives you another path towards the Euros... and without Russia in the group it becomes even easier for Albania. Plus there other benefits.

Albania is not Germany or England to not "care" about these games. The reason Macedonia is a level above is because they took advantage of situations like these.

Every National Team game should be treated as the World Cup final.

Not to mention that Nations League is an official competition. Countries field their best players and do anything possible to win. Panucci said it best..

“Per kombetaren do shkoja me motor uji.” It seems that all these patriots still have not understood the meaning of this.

Problem is that we are stacked at that position..

Broja, and Cikalleshi are undoubtably better, then the next tier with Manaj, Uzuni, up and comer Vrioni, who is making a lot of noise. Bajrami should stick to the attacking midfielder role. He looked pretty good there in his debut match at home v. Hungary.

They should just call up Ergys Kace and Shkelzen Gashi at this point...
