What a great team, lets check how they got on in Europe. Oh waitJari wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:09 pm It plays the biggest part.
For example since we argue about Ndoj here, do you think he’d ever reach professional level if raised and trained in Albania ? Not even close if you ask me.
In Olympiacos he is the teammate of James Rodriguez, Marcelo, Vrsaljko, Sokratis and many more. In a couple of years he’ll get a transfer in a top European league like any of their prospects the past decade, with a good amount of money.
Although they have probably pushed him to pick Greece in order to promote him and I don’t even blame him considering how beneficial the current situation for his career is.

Bottom line is he picked a nation we are routinely discriminated against and are told to forget our Albanian heritage. Princ can go suck his mum with the pirate shit.
Manila’s played for years at Roma and Napoli, Sokratis as well for Dortmund and Arsenal. Vlachodimos is the starting goalkeeper of Benfica for quite a long time.
What I and you can’t actually name is three Albanian talents playing straight from the Albanian league to a top European league.

In places like Norway, Germany, Switzerland, England they encourage parents to teach their kids about their heritage, to teach them their language so when we lose a guy to places like that you cant get too mad considering they are 1) Much better football nations and 2) They've respected us and we've grown up in these places.
But when you have Greece who discriminated so hard against us, forced Greek names upon us, looked down on us for speaking Albanian, killed Albanians, telling their kids not to play with Albanians and you go and represent them? It makes no sense to me, they're fucking stupid for picking Greece and I hope his career goes to shit. A few games for a crap team and you just abandon your heritage to a people who hate us?
Go f*** yourself "Andreas" rrot kari.

In the big Greek derby Olympiakos-Panathinaikos a few days ago there was a total of 3 Greek players between both starting lineups.
That’s a useless stat, English clubs also have few Englishmen playing for them but they get all the talent of the world in their league.
Yeah I know that and that’s not the point of the comment.
They might be playing all in the the prem but there are barely more than 2-3 guys in the starting squad of any big side

So thats 34 year old Sokratis and 31 year old Manolas who's now left Europe. Not exactly a wealth of exciting talent is it?Jari wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:43 pmCanaYouDoIt wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:35 pmName me 3 Greek talents who have played in big european teams in the last 5-10 years. They have been playing in European competitions since forever.
Just impinge that the best campaign any Albanian club had ever had, barely had any difference with Olympiacos campaign this year which you are laughing off. Quite depressing if you ask me.

City have guys like Foden, Stones , Grealish and Walker who are key players.
They're the biggest core of the squad like in any home nation

The question is why are you bending over for Olympiacos? No one here is arguing Albanian football is in a good state.Jari wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:48 pmCanaYouDoIt wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:40 pmWhat a great team, lets check how they got on in Europe. Lol you asked me to name 3 talents of the Greek league who have made id into European top leagues the last 5-10 years and I just did. What does even matter if these guys are 34 and 31 years old respectively?
They have also guys playing in Italian and German leagues. Albanian Nt wouldn’t be much better if they didn’t have help from Western European countries to develop their talents.

I’m not bending over them, just mentioning that Ndoj is having a golden opportunity for his career which was the starting point of this discussion.CanaYouDoIt wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:50 pmThe question is why are you bending over for Olympiacos?
