Albanians abroad

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

By that logic, it is all fine and dandy that Greece stole Albanian weightlifting product Pirro Dhima, who went on to become arguably the greatest weightlifter ever.

Dhima is, to this day, the most criticized athlete by Albanians. We do not like it when others steal from us, so why should we steal from them?
Nobody gives a shit about Dhima anymore. That was back in the 90's and early 2000's. It's 2002.

Kace and Ninis were nowhere near close to Olympiakos level. Neither are Mitaj and especially Mihaj lol..

This player s a guaranteed starter for Oly at age 19. He's a level above any past Greek product.

My comment is based on the fact that he's playing for a club that can gain him a good tranfser in the future, as well as he's also having some quality players as his teammates. It makes sense if they pushed him to play for Greece to accept this term considering how much beneficial it will be for him to be promoted by Olympiakos.

Few years ago they sold a promising young defender for 20 million to Bayer Leverkusen. Ndoj can definitely reach this number if he becomes a stable starter for a couple of seasons.

The way they treated both NTs is scummy. Jumping back and fourth..

I hope FSHF is petty about this and try to block him. Maybe he ends with no NT at all like Loret Sadiku.

100% agreed..

Something about the look of this Ndoj kid and his daddy rubs me the wrong way.

No way..

Unlike you, every Albanian I know is hurt that our country has never medaled in olympics. Pirro Dhima went on to become the greatest athlete in Greek history. Of course it still burns that they stole him from us.

Nobody knows or cares about the story of Asllani, Kumbulla, or even Broja. Everyone knows and cares about the story of Dhima though!
