We need a solid defense first fullback to replace Hysaj. I like Balliu and Lenjani individually, but both are very attack minded and get caught on the counter a lot as they go too far forward, so we need some balance with a defensive fullback as well as one attacking.

It is nobody's fault that the defense is full of amateurs and once good players like Hysaj who have become useless. If we sort out our defensive issues we can be a solid team.
De Biasi prioritized defence to the detriment of the offence, Reja prioritizes offence to the detriment of the defence.

Results say that De Biasi had the correct strategy..

Don't get me wrong that 14-15 period with DB was great but the reality is the qualification was a bit of a fluke.

Defensive teams usually have punch and speed on the counter, under DB we didn't really have that, we were a team that played for 0-0 or 1-0 every game. You might fluke out some results that way but it won't produce long term success and you won't have a CAS victory against Serbia every qualifier.

There's nothing wrong with sitting back and countering, but the 'and countering' is the important part. For a bunker style to be effective you need to have a decent attack as well like Hungary do and we need to develop that. I'm happy if we lose games but show improvement in the attacking sense as it shows we're making progress to having a real style and being a serious team.

Reja prioritises attack over defence ? That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard

“Humbje minimale” (when you lose 0-1)
“Humbje dinjitoze” (when you lose with dignity)
“Humbje me nder” (when you lose with honour)

Terms you will hear only from Albanian media..

You can't just completely forget about the conceded goals. They were all conceded in such an amateurish way.

The problem here's that excluding Italy and Spain, Albania with the talent it has should've won all these other games

Broja needs to bulk up pronto. He's got the frame of a 14 year old. He's a pro athlete with the best physicians/dieticians, and I'm more buff than him.

Not sure if that'll slow him down a bit, but it's worth it either way.
