With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Someone like Reja or a FSHF insider like Bushi would rather play domestic players as they are connected with the Albanian system and may be giving out favors in having a certain player playing (ie Trashi, Cikaleshi, etc)
Reja didn't even consider domestic players till the very end. And he admitted so and said that was a mistake on his part.
I think we'll be seeing more Albanian leaguers with these new coaches.
Reja generally stuck with the old guard and didn’t call up new players until it was obvious to do so. He had serious doubts of Broja, Balliu, Kumbulla and Asllani despite it being clear these guys were better than the amateurs in place.
As for the domestic players he actually gave chances to guys like Trashi, Seferi and Hoxhallari. All who weren’t worth a damn and probably were favors to their respective club owners. He even tested others like Doka. This was far more than Di Biasi.
