But it is such a blow to qualification hopes that we couldn't get a point here that we deserved.
A draw would've been a great result. And the enthusiasm around the team is good right now, we can move forward with this, it isnt over. Many games to go.

And like we saw today Moldova drew to the Czech's so its a open group.

Asllani shouldn't have been the first to come off, lol. He actually started playing well in the 2nd half.

Impressed with Sylvinho, for such short time, with so many injuries and without friendlies managed to prepare a team that played organised for most part of 90 minutes. Most of players justified their minutes, only Ramadani was horrendous during whole game and i hope its his last game for national team.

Asani's performance must be highlighted. Maybe he is not 'professional' like some other players but he plays with speed, skill and without fear and Poland players had to keep fouling him to stop him. Great game and he must continue this way.

Cika was good holding the ball up in the first half but man he really can't run anymore. His legs are gone. We need to recover Broja soon and need another striker to backup too.

Uzuni shows you why the hype for him is unwarranted. Levels exist. Where he's at maybe he gets 5 sitters a game but with Albania he won't get that. He shouldn't be untouchable.

Wasn’t a bad game but we shouldn’t believe in a morale loss. This Poland team has been on the decline for a while now and the opportunity was perfect. Playing with three defensive midfielders is inexcusable.

We’ve had many of these morale losses before like when we lost to Turkey last minute, losing to Iceland under Rejas first match, losing to Poland last year at home, etc.

We just looked a little better this time because we actually had a little more width by switching to a formation with one striker (puts someone like balaj on the bench) and because Poland has been bad.

I agree that we shouldn't be happy with a loss here. We played a game for a draw at least and it is pitiful they got 3 points out of it whilst being that poor.

I see it as mainly a mental problem. The team is too used to losing and we have a mental block, we don't play with enough calm, patience, and lose our heads too easily if we concede or things go against us.

In the period in the 2nd half where we were knocking it around for a bit with calmness we were doing well. Our players are too nervous with the ball, if we just learned to keep cool more we could dominate games a lot more.

And let’s be real here, people keep saying they (Poland) are on the decline like they didn’t just make the knockout stages of the world cup …

we played well, in 1 week managed to look more organised than Reja managed in 3 years. It was reminiscent of Di Biasi’s Albania.

When Mehmeti and Bajrami came on you’re right we started passing it around more. Add Bare into the mix instead of someone like Ramadani or Gjasula who are limited on the ball and there’s potential for some really good football.

And Broja is a must, despite Cika doing really well, the alternatives to them two are just terrible. I’d rather play Uzuni ST and have Mehmeti/Asani as the wide men.

Heck have Muci play there instead of Seferi who can’t control a ball to save his life. And Muci has that x factor which is needed in international football.

IMO players like Muçi and Skuka could very well do what Cikalleshi does and actually possess the element of surprise.
