Anyone remember that episode of Seinfeld where Steinbrenner said he was going outside to scalp some tickets?

That was a joke, but it seems Duka or some of his people are trying to do this with the Czech Republic game.

The demand for this game is pretty insane on the heels of that Poland win so no surprise at all there. Duka has always done that.

Albanians must give our coach the benefit of the doubt regarding lineup choices. We have 3 million experts criticizing his selections!

Sylvinho has EARNED our trust with his results on the pitch, his knack for scouting/incorporating new talents, and his ability to get 100% out of players by instilling in them the belief that they can compete with anyone in the world!

Albania is stacked full of 🦁🦁🦁. There are so many great choices at every position that it will be normal for someone to get left out. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Great job coach! Way to go! Keep it up! ❤️

37th ranked Czech Republic opens as a slight favourite to beat 62nd ranked Albania in Tirana.

1X2
1 ~30%
X ~31%
2 ~39%
(Opening odds via 1xbet)

1xbet suggests a positive result more than 3 of 5 times for home team. Group leader Albania comes in with all the momentum in the world after taking 10 points from their last 4 matches of EURO 2024 qualifiers. They have scored 8 goals and conceded just 2 during that stretch.

2nd place Czech Republic has a game in hand and is unbeaten in their last 6 matches. It is shaping up to be a tightly contested affair between 2 rival nations on October 12th at Air Albania Stadium!

Both teams to score
Yes ~51%
No ~49%

Albania has scored at least 1 goal in each of their last 5 matches at home (notable opponents include Italy and Poland). Visitors have been held scoreless in just 1 of their last 9 matches (0-0 at Moldova on March 27th).

Over/Under 2.5 goals
Over ~41%
Under ~59%

Only 1 of the last 6 matches for Albania has gone over 2.5 goals (1-3 at Faroe Islands on June 20th). In comparison, only 3 of the last 10 matches for Czech Republic have gone under 2.5 goals.

Analysts like these are clowns and I suspect there are quite a few people in FSHF who share his opinion. It's why guys like Cikaleshi, Balaj, Trashi, etc, have always been undisputed starters over the years because they were "domestic".

Albania will be fighting with Moldova for fourth place without the Kosovars, Macedonians and Diaspora.

Albania without Kos/Mac diaspora:

Strakosha
Hysaj - Kumbulla- Mihaj/Bitri - Mitaj
Asllani---Gjasula(Bare, Laci)--Uzuni
---Rrapaj---
Broja -Muci

Ngl that's not bad at all. That attack is lethal.

EDIT: you can put Shpendi over Rrapaj if you don't trust him but Rrapaj is not that bad.

Broja and Kumbulla are injured. This team has zero depth and without Gjimshiti anchoring our defense we're utter shit.

This guy is a fucking clown for sure. Team is sitting on top of the group and there's zero need to question the coach at this point. If anuythign we should be excoriating FSHF for not recruiting Bardhi and Alioski from Macedonia. f*** this divisive shit.

All those guys are diaspora lol. The Italian/Greek diaspora are included as they aren't domestic players.

The "real" Albanian NT:

--Muci-Cikalleshi-Uzuini
---Bare-Cokaj-Rrapaj(Celhaka)
Trashi-Mersinaj-Bitri-Hoxhallari
--------Strakosha
