Never understood the Broja criticism. Anyone with eyes can see that he can ball. Unlike Manaj who gets treated like a kindergartener by defenders.

Yeah he still has a long way to be a top striker, but you can clearly see the talent in Broja.

What’s wrong with trying new players?

Zeka is left footed and plays on the right. 1.83m..

our supposed wonder talent can't even get in the squad at Fulham and hasn't played football for 2 years.

Neither has Ukraine's wonder talent. Mudryk has been a total failure at Chelsea and every time he plays for them he's terrible.

But Ukraine would never dare to bench him, especially for some random Ukrainian league player because they know football. They have a footballing culture unlike Albanians.

The fact that Agim Zeka's callup received no skepticism by Albanian media/opinion confirms how easy it is for corruption to happen there and not be questioned.
I don't like the comparison, the key difference you're missing is Mudryk actually gets on the field, Chelsea even preferred to give bench ST spot to some random La Masia kid rather than keep Broja there.

Broja is living off a few goals he scored years ago. The reality is this guy hasn't been performing for a long time now and he wasn't good at the Euros either when he did play.

I'm not saying he isn't our best striker, likely he is (when he's in proper condition) but he certainly isn't some superstar who earned a guaranteed spot, what has he done in football to have that?

I don't know about Agim Zeka or why he was called up frankly, whilst it seems shady, I also think a professional manager like Sylvinho wouldn't accept interference in the roster like that. Of course it doesn't make much sense but that's standard, he will probably never be called up again after this.

Well, the coaches at Chelsea and Fulham do not have eyes, because neither of them wanted him for the bench, let alone starting 11.

Not enough is being made of his Fulham stint. Failing to make the bench at a mid table club and them preferring to pay a penalty rather than even play him should be telling you he isn't exactly a superstar in his current condition. Then he starts demanding a starting spot for Albania after barely playing the entire season, do we see why coaches don't seem to like this guy? And people said that was just a myth, the fact is he has come into conflict with practically all managers he has had over attitude issues.

In his decent season at Southampton, he was in shape and playing regularly pre-injury.

He is a talented player, but part of the reason he is stagnating is because of him believing his own hype and arrogance. I would be willing to bet this season at Everton is a flop as well.

If that left foot and 1.83 height doesn't work against amateurs in the worst league in Europe what is it going to do against elite professionals?

Who cares? Adama Traore was also a benchwarmer for Fullham last season.

It's irrelevant what happens over there because level wise, it's a different universe compared to the national team. Broja is worth like half of the Albania NT by himself. For that alone he should be an automatic starter and even made captain too if we're honest.

Muriqi left foot did not work in worst league of Europe either but today he counts 26 goals for Kosovo!

Only if we ignore context.

Muriqi was a young kid at the beginning of his career. He still had to work his way up from the Turkish 2nd division. He just mastered the aerial game and the rest is history.

This Agim Zeka is a 25 year old grown man who at his prime is the waterboy of Arinaldo Rrapaj, Christian Mba and Tedi Cara. He gets the water for them while they get all the goals, assists and minutes.

The most bizzare callup probably ever. Makes no sense in any way you try to look at it.

Zeka starts every league match for Partizani and no doubt starter for Erzeni too last season..
