Is it true that his mother is Albanian, or is it just fake news? Her name doesn't seem Albanian. His face does seem kinda Albo lol.Simboli i Diellit wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2026 7:05 pmHas played 26 games for Bayern though this season alone.Aurora Bulkuolis wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2026 6:16 pmWhat is the deal with this guy? 18 years old and already called up?ReyM9 wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2026 1:18 pm Lennart Karl injured and will miss the world cup. I thought it was going to be a Shkodran Mustafi situation but Germany replaced him with a 20 year old African.

Weiper is the one with the Albanian mom. Karl has no connection.

Lecce surviving didn't save Ramadani. He moved to a relegation Turkish team "Corum FK"
Eventually players end up to their level.

We're building a huge cohort of players in Turkey.
Whilst that isn't exactly positive signs for the level of the team, it might be good in allowing them to build chemistry under a similar playstyle/camp logistics and such.

It's sad Ramadani couldn't really develop the more technical aspects of his game. I love when Albanians play in Serie A, even for bottom feeders. The more Serie A players we got, the more we qualified in Euros, and even made it to WC playoffs.
Unfortunately, our midfield is in absolute shambles. Ramadani and Bajrami are completely cooked. Laci is heading that direction too. Asllani is not as bad but he continues to underwhelm. Thankfully we found a player like Shehu, but let's be real, he's not some world beater. Just an ok player who keeps things tidy, but we need difference makers.
We need to integrate Muci, Mehmeti and Hoxha into this team as much as possible. We need to shift our attention to the wings.

The world cup has shown the importance of
smaller nations having strong & fast players, playing a defensive counter attacking style as the way to play against big countries.
I look at our team and we don’t have many of those players , and the ones we do have not been integrated properly into the team.
I feel the next couple years will be tough, no talents whatsoever coming through rn

I agree. We never really had much pace on the width which always made us a poor counter attacking team. Without the threat of a counter attack you're going to eat 4 goals when you bunker. Congo gave England fits because they can run for days and have the size to be pyhsical. Cape Verde are borderline semi professional team but they run hard and play phyiscal. It's why I always liked Uzuini because he had pace and a crazy work rate. Albania has always been a slow team and more so under Reja than Silvinho.canayoudoit2 wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2026 5:52 am The world cup has shown the importance of

As for new talents it's the same as it was the past few years Gruda & Ibrahimovic and now Adri Mehmeti in the United States. I'm not sure why Ibrahimovic hasn't been called up yet because I'm pretty sure he even knows Germany is a dream for him. Adri Mehmeti won't commit to us for another few years atleast since he's only 17 so we can write him off for now. This is probably another waiting year for Gruda which is lame. And in the meantime we'll just poach up random diaspora.
Hopefully someone like Medon Berisha can step up. Losing Adrian Bajrami kinda sucks since we have no center back depth even if he's average. Right back will be an issue. Seems like Kosovo poached up the talented Swiss diaspora in Hajdari and Avdullah and will continue to do so going forward.

If the world cup has shown anything, it's the importance of a top striker. That's why I said, unless Broja gets his shit together, we're screwed.canayoudoit2 wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2026 5:52 am The world cup has shown the importance of

Burnley lost 4-1 to Salt Lake City. Broja missed a pen and didn't play well.
He is getting a lot of sh.t online.
