Ramadani done it the right way... stepping stone league, performed great there, started every single game, and now he's off to a Serie A team for 1.2 mill which is not a small amount for where he started as a player.

Bradley Wright Phillips barely played for Championship/L1 sides and is an all time player over there. I can think of countless other players like that who dominated the MLS despite being nothing players over here.

Nobody is claiming MLS is a top league bt it's not the shit league Eurosnobs think either. It's our domestic league in the US so I follow my local team, unlike the majority of Albanians who "support" teams they have never seen in person lol.

I would probably put it around the level of the English Championship all considered, not really the competitiveness of it (Championship is super competitive) but overall strengths. It's improved a lot in recent years but still not top-level.

Recently it's not relying on expensive imports as much and has started to sign young talent/develop their own players so its taken a step forward.

What holds MLS back is the salary cap and the American mentality for league parity. Currently Cincinnati (joined MLS in 2019) and St Louis (expansion team this year) are leading their respective conferences. In a Euro style league LA and NYC teams would dominate every year.

Honestly you can argue that the salary cap could be good even for European leagues... Financial fair play doesn't work with the way big clubs are abusing it with all the loopholes.

The worst thing about MLS is no relegation. Makes so many games meaningless. Those teams at the bottom don't even have to try.

MLS = championship is a good comparison when it comes to level of play.

It's a good move for the NT because every week he'll play against professional competition and be in rhythm.

But he'll be fighting for relegation and in a year he could easily be in Serie B

No matter where he has gone, Ylber Ramadani has always been a starter. Albanians owe him BIG thank you for taking Bare spot in the formation. At 27 years old, no point in waiting around another season at Aberdeen. Time to take the next step..

He could well be but if he’s good enough for that level I’m sure someone will pick him up. either way it’ll do him and us good in preparation for the euros .

Very valid point but the way sport leagues are structured that's never gonna happen. The US is all about business and money drives every decision. The concept of a club as part of a community, which is how most Soccer clubs were first established, is completely alien here. Just look at the way they move franchises around, even in massive leagues like NFL and NBA.

It's crazy how much Muci's game awareness and passing has improved . He rarely makes bad decisions anymore. Remember that used to be his biggest problem like it is for most Albanian leaguers.

Source of this news is not very trustworthy but if it is true that De Zerbi is fan of him and he wants him at Brighton, Asllani is biggest idiot if he doesn't asks to leave the club. It is clear Inzaghi doesn't like and rate him, he was preferring Gagliardini over him so what's the point to stay at Inter. From all clubs in Europe, Brighton might be best environment for player who needs minutes and development, they sold MacAllister and Caicedo might leave to Chelsea.
