Laci is the only team who might not completely embarrass us in Europe every year.

And they lost the league by a mile to Tirana. It shows you how much corruption there is, you can clearly see who is the better team watching them in Europe.

Laci probably played against the refs as well as their opponents every game.

Huge result for Drita, they make Kosovo proud..
Didn't Drita also draw with Feyenoord last year and nearly go through?

Wtf is it about Albania specifically that our teams and players can't do things like that? Kosovan league champion didn't even have a license a few years ago and their teams are going into Europe fighting against big teams.

Meanwhile our 'champion' gets knocked out by a team from Luxembourg.

Don't believe that Tirana won the league because of corruption. They obliterated everyone with ease. Players like Seferi, Xhixha, Totre and co are major difference makers in the Albanian league....but only the Albanian league.

In Europe since the level is obviously higher you need to embrace an underdog role and your team should also be built for counter attacks. Tirana failed at both.

1) They didn't play like underdogs against Dudelange and also Zrinski. They played them like they play Pogradeci in the Albanian league. High up the field and all out attack... That's suicide for Albanian teams in Europe.

2) Their team is not built for upsets. No pace, defensive backbone, or dribblers. A team like them cannot counter attack successfully or upset anyone.

They are perfect for the Albanian league though.

Tirana’s problem is they are a team full of weak midgets, no aerial threat.

Players lack the strength and conditioning, second half eat goals. Nobody can hit the target either, big issue with these Albanian teams. Important to have guys who know how to strike the ball..

Their opponents were even weaker midgets and they destroyed them with pace and dribbling.

Dudelange was noticeably bigger and stronger..

71’ Tirana e pëson. Pas një harkimi nga e majta, Hasan me kokë gjuan dhe pasi sfera prek shtyllën, përfundon në rrjetë.

2 games, 3 goals conceded, all of them in 2nd half.

Anyone who watched the Tirana games knows that they were getting shredded by quick counter attacks, especially by the Bosnians who could've scored at least 3 in Tirana. And that was all by ground not air.

but it's true that Tirana's opponents were fitter. They ran more and for longer periods but that's an Albanian league issue where players mostly walk on the pitch. They are not built for 90 minutes

Zrinjski did not score an open play goal..

The 3 goals Tirana conceded against Dudelange were a header, a long shot, and a great half volley just inside the box. Lost to bigger, stronger team, with players who actually knew how to strike the ball.

Zrinski had 14 total attempts, 7 on target.

Just because they missed their sitters doesn't mean that they didn't terrorize Tirana on the ground.

Didn't Dudelange just get raped by Armenian midgets? I can guess how the Armenians did it..
