Asani said that he has an offer from LaLiga and it's 95% sure that he will go there. He said all that's left is to negotiate the exit with his club.

He also said it's a big team but that could mean anything. It could be a club like Sevilla which is currently fighting relegation.

In any case him moving to LaLiga would be great for the NT and maybe help him back into the lineup where he can contribute.

Like that Las Palmas rumor he made up?? Playing in Spain must have been his dream or something.

Asani is closer to retiring than going to La Liga.

I don't think it's as crazy as you make out. He's probably on low wages and his club might let him out for a minimal fee considering the situation. He would be within his right to break his contract.

So if he says it fell through because of the fee it's obviously BS.

But I think it's actually very believable. Lower table LaLiga teams generally don't spend much and they try and look for low risk gambles. I can see some team wanting to pick him up on a small contract just to give him a try.

He's never had the opportunity to play in the top5 leagues before, and his club record is good. He has scored a lot of goals since 2023 despite not playing regularly for various reasons. Experienced international etc. I can definitely see the logic in a LaLiga team taking a chance on him for low wages and a minor fee.

Outside of small handful of teams, La Liga plays just as slow as Persian Gulf Pro League so I’d say it’s not a big difference..

If they want to invest in low risk they would just go for younger players from their lower divisions. I'm sure the Spanish 2nd division has 100 Asanis in there and younger.

There is no point in going for a 30 year old winger who could never cope in a semi professional European league.

Europeans going to bizarre out of continent leagues like India, Iran, Egypt(Sukaj), Bolivia (Sadiku) is the equivalent of Brazilians and Argentinians going to play in the Albanian league. It means that they are fake professionals and trying to milk any cent they can.

Asani has to keep up the act, that's why he's making up rumors about himself again.

Anyone can play for mid to bottom table team in La Liga..

All you have to know is the back pass, the dive and subsequent time wasting by staying down for at least 5 minutes whether winning, tying or losing.

He has 21 league goals this year and is 2nd most in La Liga this year. We still suck off Igli Tare for scoring like 4 goals in Italy decades ago. Muriqi deserves a statue!
