Italy v Albania 24/03/2017

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Taulant Xhaka and Amir Abrashi argued with De Biasi so they'll travel to their respective clubs and won't be part of the team against Bosnia.

So how many people have left under Di Biasi? Kace, Xhaka, Abrashi, Rashica...

Seems like the manager is becoming some sort of tyrant and wants obedient players under him. We're gonna be left with a team full of superliga scrubs which is something that the likes of Bushi, Jupi, etc, want.

How is Kukeli "decent"? He just kept either fucking up a pass or making a reckless tackle. He was lucky the referee was lenient with him. The dude puts together 2 passes once in a while, and suddenly he's great. I'd rather play Lila there who does nothing, but won't cause retarded risky fouls, than have someone who makes 1 good pass followed by 3 mistakes.

If we wanted a passer who is reckless we can just play Kace. Much better passer than Kukeli, with half the f*** ups.
Kaçe is not on the level of Kukeli otherwise he'd have started long time ago. Of course Kukeli makes mistakes, but he's not an anti-footballer like the Lilas and Cikalleshis. Not long ago we had a team full of antifootballers like the later ones and we had difficulties to strike 2-3 passes with cuntinuity and your bunch was still moaning :D

When I read your post I see a very confused poster, you should know what the roles of Lila and Kukeli are before comparing the two :D

The only problem this team has imo is the offense wich is amateurish. And in no way comes it close to the quality we have in defence and midfield, otherwise this is still a solid team.

This is why GDB has to go. He's let every play with any resemblance of an offensive game either get into an argument and leave (Kace, Xhaka) or just let them walk over to Kosova (Rashica, Berisha).

I think he's too consummate of a professional to ever quit himself so he'll only leave if he gets fired. That seems to me the attitude he has up untill now. He probably think we still worship him and feels rude if he calls it quits :zgerdhimje:

Also I'm a firm believe in a team taking on the personality of their captain. That is why Agolli is the worst captain to have. He plays nervously, out of control, and throws the ball away. All key characteristics that have plagued our team recently.

Compare it to how much more composed and under control when Cana was captain. That's because like Cana, we knew we weren't the best on the field. But we had confidence, composure, and trust in one another. Right now, we have not one of those which is why this team has been in such a shattering free fall.

At this point I just hope we Beat Israel at home, Macedonia away and Italy at home for revenge. We're not qualifying but that doesn't mean we have to hang our heads in shame if we come in third behind a Italy or Spain...

Kace is not on the level of Kukeli? lmao.. I'm a Kukeli fan and think he's one of the best players on the team but Kace is definitely on his level and in many ways he's better too.

I'm watching this u21 game and it's disappointing to see that Cekici has regressed as a player. He hasn't improved at all.

He's better than that other CB who played in the 1st half. That guy was a disaster.

Yes , him and Marash Kumbulla should become the main starting CBs for this U21. They're starters in their primavera teams. You could tell just from the touch of the ball who plays in amateur leagues in Albania and who abroad. The fact that 90% of the team has never played together these friendlies are just to test them and improve their team play. Leonardo Maloku, Shaqir Tafaj, Bytyci, Seferi, Mustafa , Bare and Ndoj showed pieces of pro football. Guess what they have in common ? Once the relatives of Lutfi Nuri and Halili came in it became a second division show. Ndoj is too calm if you want to play in attack, he fits well when you play a big team and you have to wait , hold the ball , lose time althrough he makes a good strong save pass . Seen better games of him. Hoping Bushi will add Sakaj and Zenuni also to the list.

I actually liked Bare in this game. He makes mistakes but he has a good personality on the field and technically he's not that bad.

Indeed at least he has some creativity. He'll be part of the Kombetare against Bosnia this tuesday.
