Kosova's offence is on a whole other level to Albania's. Albania's best feature is defence, and it's still the DB era veterans: Djim, Ajeti, Hysaj, Strakosha, etc. All these guys debuted under DB. Mitaj is the only new addition.

Kosova's offence is on a whole other level to Albania's. Albania's best feature is defence, and it's still the DB era veterans: Djim, Ajeti, Hysaj, Strakosha, etc. All these guys debuted under DB. Mitaj is the only new addition.

Albania has been squeaking out results and it doesn't seem sustainable. Offensively we're just not good and they need to do a total revamp of the final third before it really starts to catch up to them. This probably means begging Gruda to commit and taking chances on new players like Ibrahimovic, Weiper (if they are interested) or whatever talented diaspora is out there. It's kinda clear at this point that guys like Bajrami, Manaj, Asani, Broja, etc, have run it's course.

We desperately need Gruda for these qualifiers, how hard can it be to tell a guy lead us to the world cup, just 2 games and you’ll be a legend for life.
