Not only did Muriqi light it up in Turkey, but he also proved himself on the International stage.
The big man was surely a key player for Kosovo during their unbeaten run. In 2019, he scored goals against the likes of England (+2 assist) and Czech Republic.
Lazio plays with two strikers which may hinder him but regardless, he has been a disappointment so far this season.

Muriqi deserved to be subbed on first half stoppage time. Absolute terrible performance by him,one of poorest i ever saw on Serie A by a striker.

Muriqi could become useful for Lazio in future but he is so bad with his feet! Seems he’s lacking fundamentals , he was missing simple touch ball “supports” from his team mates . He’ll be useful to keep the ball and vary the game a bit tattically.
But with 20 million Lazio could’ve got a good defender . Wasted money , teams like Lazio need ready to go players . Can’t wait for them to be ready in 1-2 years. Tare should stop getting albanians at Lazio for a while otherwise even the other players at Lazio will be under their fans radar like Strakosha.

We shouldn't write Muriqi off completely because internationally he's scored against some decent teams like England, Czech Republic and Slovenia, and Turkey is still a B/B+ level competition. Not a Top 5 league, but easily Russia/Holland level.
But playing for a team like Lazio is more like A-/A level of play. You could certainly try to see if he fits in, but there is 0 guarantee. You should only spend 20 million for someone proven at that level.

Don't think scoring against x or y team is good reasoning to support a case that a player can play for a specific team or league. Anyone can score against anyone in any individual game. Balaj has scored against Portugal, Poland, Northern Ireland, etc but that doesn't mean he's premier league quality. lol
A striker who's good enough but is out of form might be in a scoring drought but will still show basic tangibles like basic touches, passes, decision making, etc. What he struggles doing the basics then he's clearly not good enough. There is no "he'll snap out of it" when he struggles with the basics. He wont suddenly wake up one day and learn to play football from the beginning.

Yeah but arguably there are two measures of strikers: their peak and consistency. Balaj reached a high peak, but he never had consistency. This is like Manaj. They score some crazy goals, but disappear. Muriqi at least has consistency in Turkish league AND has a high peak.
I'm not defending the transfer, because it was stupid and I said so before he even put on a Lazio shirt. But I think he has the
potential to at least be a bottom table Serie A striker.

Muriqi is a target man, he can only operate at 4-5-1 and 4-3-3 formations not at Lazio's 3-5-2 or at a 4-4-2 Tare should had known better He deserved the credit for Lazio's success the past seasons but him trying to make Lazio a destination for every semi decent Albo is outrageous The most annoying thing is that he doesn't even do any good to Albania cause half of them don't even represent us internationally , he is only harming his image as one of the top football directors of Italy
Muriqi is good enough for Serie A but for a team at the bottom half of the table
