Elon Musk had a great quote. He said something like for a new product to replace the existing, it has to be 7-8 times better, otherwise people will just stick to what they know. It takes too much effort to replace an existing thing with something that's only slightly better.

And that's true for football. Once you've established a lineup, the new person has to be NOTICEABLY better than the existing people to replace. He can't just be slightly better. Unfortunately, for Kumbulla he is not head and shoulders above Mancini/Ibanez/Smalling. But that also doesn't mean he's inferior. He's barely played at all and struggled with injuries. When those guys make mistakes, it just gets brushed under the rug, as long as they're not GLARING mistakes.

I don't think Hysaj understands what marking is. Same shit for Poland game. This guy has 0 awareness of the people around him.

Hate to say it, but Albi Doka is looking better than this dude. Even Veseli would be better as RB if we didn't use a 3-5-2.

He's in a bad run of form and that's probably all there is to it. He is still a top4 league professional with plenty of European and Serie A experience. Don't forget he plays for Lazio not HNK Gorica. A lot harder to hold your spot in a team like Lazio and Doka doesn't even start at his club.

If Princ ends up being right and Hysaj ends up in Serie B or Saudi Arabia in a year or two and Doka goes to a top league I'll start to question reality :rrokullisem: :rrokullisem: :rrokullisem: :rrokullisem:

A player who seriously risks of establishing himself in Serie a is Bajrami. He has been dog shit for quite some time. Since he won the court case actually.

Benched again, wow. He played shit for us over the break as well. Probably in very bad form. Needs to pick up his act, whilst his reputation will probably keep him in Serie A even if he does shit this season (he's known as a very talented player in Italy, everyone takes him in fanta) he won't progress to those heights people were predicting before, there was even speculation about signing for Juve at a time. Now benched with Empoli

Don't see why he was benched , was their top G+A player and doing very well.
