And an actual system, not all passes were to the wing. But there is structure there, for us he was covering half the field on his own and not involved in buildup, any 5 year old could see that.

It's not even about system. Just good teammates who are comfortable on the ball and win most of their duels. If you're Asllani you feel safe passing it straight to Lukaku because you know he's gonna hold up the ball as opposed to someone like Pinamonti.

Asllani's challenge will be defensively. He has the work rates but he has to be a resemblance of Kante when it comes to breaking up play and tackling. If he masters the defensive part he can be world class.

But it is about system, putting players in positions where they know their teammates will be to repeat the same actions making it easier for them.

Your challenge for Asllani is to be defensively like the best defensive CM of the last 6 years, makes sense.

I said resemblance not exactly like him.

But if you want to lower the level then Abrashi is another good example defensively that Asllani should aspire to be.

Hopefully this pushes Bare to raise his game too as he’s been kind of poor in recent times. Put Bajrami in ACM and that midfield is deff exciting to watch.
We saw how well these superstars fared against the likes of Dor Peretz, Mahmoud Jaber, and Eden Karzev in the middle of Tirana.

For us, he was getting pushed off the ball like a girl and getting run through on defence.

It's ok to admit that Albanian players are not perfect you know.

Asllani himself admitted that he was very poor against Israel in his post game interview.
