People were only overrating Kumbulla when they were saying that he's just as good/better than Smalling, Ibanez, Mancini and deserved to start over them.
You smoked crack if you truly believed that.
They will overrate Asllani if they say that he should over Brozovic. He doesn't.

He is just as good as those guys, just because Mourinho is doing nonsense doesn't mean its not true. Those guys are not better than him.
Brozovic is a borderline world class player, he's another level to those guys.

Kumbulla marking Lewa, arguably the best #9 in the world, in a do-or-die game that his teammates fucked up, makes him way more proven than any of those guys.
The biggest game they played is a Conference League final against a Dutch team. Those Dutch players are like mid-table Serie A level at best.

Broja is the only worthwhile player..
Often times, he plays like a girl but still has what it takes to make the difference. The rest are overrated and interchangeable.

If you think Kumbulla and Djimsiti are replaceable by Ismajli let alone anyone like Veseli then you are just trolling.

Kumbulla and Djimsiti suck!
Eat goals like pancakes. They are weak physically and in the air. Anyone here remember one of them ever scoring a header, or even coming close?
Not to mention that Kumbulla is a proven quitter. Not only did he quit at England, but he let Mourinho bench him in front of his own fans, and celebrated afterwards. He is happy just to take part..

You're a generational troll, I'll give you that. To come up with this amount of shit on a daily basis, well done to you

They are talented individually and win most of their duels but they are not leaders. Kumbulla naturally because he's young and has long ways to go and improve.
Djimisiti just seems like a very nice guy. He's a "finesse" defender... Sometimes the best defenders and leaders are assholes by nature. That's what you have to be. That's not Djim.
Kristjan and Armando seem like very nice kids too. Albania does need some players with personality. Every successful team has them.

Another Asllani corner led to a goal, this time against Monaco.
But his most impressive strength is his off the ball movement. He always makes himself available to receive the ball. At his position that's so important. Imagine Kukeli but 10x more talented.
Of course he has long ways to improve... like his decision making when being pressed and defense. Far from a finished product but the potential is there.
Either way, with a Bare-Asllani-Abrashi midfield Albania will dominate most NTs except pot 1 super teams and a few pot 2 teams. It's crazy the potential the Albanian NT has despite having the worst league in Europe(besides Kosovo).

Because we’re a talented people held back by corrupt head of states . The diaspora is carrying us , our boys trained overseas and luckily we’re patriotic enough to care about Albania .
Give it 1/2 generations and you’ll see a huge dip in talent
