What exactly have any of these “top players” accomplished?
Djimisiti = PLaying in the Champions League and passing the group stages(i think not sure)

Kumbulla = Winning the Conference League

Asllani = Just signing for a big club for more than 10 million is a big accomplishment.

We all love Broja but you can argue "what has he accomplished" about him too. So far he has been a loan journeyman.

I am not a fan of Champions League, Conference League, or big clubs.

I am a fan of Albania. What have they accomplished for the NT?

Djimsiti helped Albania to qualify to the Euros. That's why De Biasi not taking him was his greatest mistake.

Kumbulla and Asllani literally just started their NT careers. Impossible to judge yet.

Impossible to call them “top players” then..

AB just started his NT career too, but has already shown he has what it takes to make the difference.

So Broja is a "top player" because of what he did against Hungary but you ignore that Kumbulla was a monster in both Hungary games and was a big reason clean sheets were kept in both games.

Both Kumbulla and Broja have about `15 caps for Albania. You can argue that Kumbulla has been better overall in those 15 caps. He also locked up Lewandovski in Tirana and Harry Kane when they were matched up.

Kumbulla is soft..

Ate 4 goals in Poland, 3 in Czechia, quit after early goal in England. Warms the bench at his club, does not pose any aerial threat, celebrated when left on bench in Tirana.

Notice how Kumbulla and his partner Djimsiti eat goals like pancakes anytime we come up against a big, strong Slavic team?

@redfootball, in London before he got injured. He was winning all his duels and then Dermaku came. The rest was history.

Marash has long ways to go and develop. Experience is very important for CBs.

But if Marash is not a top player then neither is Broja. Besides Hungary(as a super sub in the last minutes), San Marino, and Spain friendly he has been pretty underwhelming for the NT.

That also is just whoscored being dicks, Southampton were dogshit in that period and didn't create any chances, they're just pandering to salty Chelsea fans

I agree we'll see the best of Kumbulla later on his career , after all he is a CB and a lot of it is mental, he still hasn't played that many pro games.

I think its unfair to call Broja underwhelming , we know he literally has to do it all himself, Reja is pathetic and making these guys look bad
