Albanians abroad

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Italians Insigne and Bernardeschi debuting for Toronto FC tonight against Charlotte FC, where Swiderski and Jozwiak play.

Vrioni might make his debut as well. He is on the bench for New England Revolution. Expected to ramp up conditioning and transition into a starter within the coming weeks..

Go to around 4min 40 for those who the link doesn't work for.

He's the only superliga young player I've ever watched and felt that he can go to the top. He's so good, just need him to escape the clutches of poor eastern European coaching.

He's probably years behind his fellow 21 year old western talents in terms of mental understanding of the game.

Scored a goal first game and only given 5 mins game time today in which he does that, just needs to leave. Some La Liga 2 side surely can take a chance on him.

Shame that all of the good young players leave Albania to warm benches in Europe.

Some of us called it when Muci was about to sign in Poland. That's career killing move because they already had negative experiences with Albanians (Hasi, Sadiku, etc) who are literally memes there. Muci was always going to be scapegoated/treated badly unless he was great which he wasn't.

And not like he can develop there technically either. Muci's team can barely string 3 passes together.. They are supposed to teach him how to be a professional? They changed like 5 coaches in the past year too.

Regi Lushkja plays 90 minutes for Sheriff as they knock out Maribor.

Central midfielder with size. Time to give him a look with the NT.

Honestly not surprised and considering their striker situation don't be surprised if he gets plenty of minutes.
