Manaj had a successful season in Italy, a top 4 league.
Why move to England? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it..
If he had a successful season then Spezia wouldn't refuse to spend 1 million to keep him. (which is peanuts for them since they spent millions on other transfers instead).
He was below average. 1 legit goal, 1 tap-in and a few penalties in 30 games. 0 assists and not many chances created.
His contribution can easily be replicated by random youth players that's why Spezia said no thanks and no other Serie A club even showed interest.

Then why did he bench their best player (Nzola) of the previous season, who scored 11 goals on 1.8k minutes in Serie A? Because he suddenly turned shit? Is he a random youth player? Spezia had many good and proven forwards, you can check for yourself. He played for a reason.
He wasn't kept because Motta left and his salary is too high for his ability along with the 3 million buy option (not 1 million).

Manaj is bad at everything. Especially athleticism which is crucial nowadays.
Is he even better than Seferi? Seferi might be slightly quicker and more technical.

True. He really picked up form second half of last season and looked to be settling down.

We don't know a club's internal issues. Fact is that Nzola stayed while Motta and Manaj were shown the door...
How much is Watford paying Manaj right now? I refuse to believe they pay a bench player that much and they did get him for the bench because he has no shot in playing over an excellent talent like Joao Pedro , Dennis and probably even Bayo.
Trasnfermarkt says that Watford actually signed Rey on a free transfer. That means that Barcelona just ended his contract because no one was buying him. Even more embarrassing if Spezia refused him on a free transfer.
Turkish second division is coming...

Here is an article from the Spezia fan site after they didn't use the option to buy him. Read for yourself, it's more complimentary about his season there than me and Princ were.
I don't think they are expecting to keep Dennis, his performance in the Prem last season was amazing and he'll probably get picked up by a mid table club there at least. As for Bayo he was left out of the squad today because they had too many foreign players.
Let's see what happens, but I think it's a good move and fit for him and will end out working well.

Konyaspor 1-4 Vaduz
aka the Turkish hotheads vs the professional Swiss.
Then again their best striker is cement boots who can barely move on the field.

Cement boots is washed up now..
Regardless, he is still one of only Albanians who know how to strike the ball. Other than Broja, hard to think of any players with that capability.

Asani scored a double for his Hungarian team against Molde in the Conference League qualifying.
Unfortunately they still got knocked out but maybe keep an eye on his progress given we still have no wingers other than Uzuni and the remains of Roshi.

True he can strike the ball, but it's usually off target.
