What makes you think that we are better than Greece?
Albania: 3rd pot in World Cup Qualifiers.

Greece: 4th pot.

Pots determine who's currently better.

You can argue they are worse than Albania but they actually develop their talents unlike the Albanian squad who have been recently acquiring talent from Switzerland, Italy, England, Germany and Greece.

A good step to stop ‘losing’ players like him is to develop players like him at first. Albania can’t do that consistently.
Absolutely.. 🤝

Albania is a pirate nation when it comes to sport, attempting to steal the products of other countries. Albanian state has played no part in development of these talents and attempts to lure them in using bait of “patriotism.”

Keep dreaming..

Greece is ranked higher by FIFA, has one of the top domestic leagues in Balkans (along with Serbia and Croatia), and has registered better results of late.

Development is not just club football, it's youth NTs too. It's also NT.

In the big Greek derby Olympiakos-Panathinaikos a few days ago there was a total of 3 Greek players between both starting lineups.

It plays the biggest part.

For example since we argue about Ndoj here, do you think he’d ever reach professional level if raised and trained in Albania ? Not even close if you ask me.

In Olympiacos he is the teammate of James Rodriguez, Marcelo, Vrsaljko, Sokratis and many more. In a couple of years he’ll get a transfer in a top European league like any of their prospects the past decade, with a good amount of money.

Although they have probably pushed him to pick Greece in order to promote him and I don’t even blame him considering how beneficial the current situation for his career is.

That’s a useless stat, English clubs also have few Englishmen playing for them but they get all the talent of the world in their league.

I don’t think it would bother anyone if we had the status of the Greek league. They attract good foreign players, their big clubs sell for a good amount of money and not for peanuts and their clubs have achieved good results in Europe.

The last thing I’d care about would be the amount of the local players in an Albanian league game, if our league was as strong as this

Name me 3 Greek talents who have played in big european teams in the last 5-10 years. I certainly cant.

Bottom line is he picked a nation we are routinely discriminated against and are told to forget our Albanian heritage. Princ can go suck his mum with the pirate shit.
