With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

6 goals against who?? San Marino, Lichenstein, and Kazakhstan are not Spain, Italy and Croatia.
Fact is that Albania has very few players who can compete against super professionals. Even Uzuni who plays in La Liga and scores "goals" is not one of them. ... nevermind Manaj.
6 goals are 6 goals..
It is not easy to score on anybody at NT level. Check last match for details, got blanked by Faroe Islands middle of Tirana. Moldova put it on us too, needed a penalty to come away with a point there.
Ray won UNL group with big goal against Belarus and was showing real signs of improvement before the injury. One of the only players who did us proud in that 4-1 loss at Poland and now putting pressure on the coaching staff to call him up for EURO 2024.
Very curious to see how this all plays out. One thing is for sure, things are always more interesting when Sugar Ray is around!

Manaj was the main reason Albania didn't qualify for the world cup.
In that 0-1 loss to Poland (which would determine qualification) he had a wide open Uzuni for a tap-in but he went for glory with a defender in front of him and got blocked. His selfish ways are well documented. It's no surprise that without him Albania looks like a real team and qualified with ease.
But all this is irrelevant. Sylvinho plays with only 1 striker and especially against those opponents a Turkish leaguer is not moving the needle like that.
If you guys want a darkhorse callout look out for Indrit Tuci who just transferred to Sparta Prague. It will be very hard for him but he's better than Manaj.

Performances against Belarus are irrelevant. I’m pretty sure Cikaleshi scored half of his NT goals against Belarus in that one pathetic NL campaign and Cikaleshi might be the worst striker in our history
Manaj can never be a contributor because he’s a slow goal poacher who can’t contribute defensively. These guys have no value against professional teams. You can practically plug in any random forward in the NT radar like Skuka and they would contribute just as much as Manaj could.

We need an in form Broja or the EUROs are already over before they begin.
Lol, Albania qualified without Broja and should plan to play the Euros without him. There's a bigger chance that Broja won't hit form this season and it would be a mistake to rely on him.

Qualified without Kumbulla too but both should be the first names on the list and starting 11.

Broja if healthy maybe but I think he may be best suited to come on around 65th minute when opposing defense is tired like Reja used him. He hasn't proved effective as a starter for us or Chelsea.
