Damn.. Albanian fans on social media are crucifying Broja for his performance today.
He wasn't THAT bad but not good either. The standards for him are obviously high which is a good thing. When he gets hailed as a super talent after one good performance then it's understandable if the energy is the same for bad games as well. It's good to see Albanian fans evolving and not just blindly following one way.

Man City has conceded 1 goal in 5 games. Broja played for like 20 minutes. Let's curb our expectations a little bit.
Like I said, a good target for Broja is 7 goals for the entire season. It's very rare that someone hits double digits in first season as a youngster.

Djimsiti comparison is wack!CanaYouDoIt wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 9:38 pm That’s cool in concept but you don’t drop your best player over some poor form , we as a smaller nation can’t afford to drop Djimsiti let’s say because he gets a red card or plays badly for his team for a bit.
Strakosha and Berisha are benchwarmers at their clubs who offer Albania nothing but headaches at the moment. Once they begin playing regularly, then they should be back in the mix for the starting job.
Until then, we must not overlook other Albanians more qualified to fill the position. Teuta conceded the lowest goals in Superliga last season, allowing only 16 through 36 matches.
Stivi Frasheri has paid his dues and merits a look from the NT!

You are the Albanian Skip Bayless , because these takes are wack .
Generational talent? Really?RedFootballs wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 5:59 pm Broja bodying Dias lol
I think it's safe to say he's a generational talent at this point... in all his limited minutes against top quality opposition he has looked dangerous. With consistent starts no doubt he could score 10-15.
This is why people don't take you serious on this board.
Haaland is a year older and is one of the best strikers in the world, but yeah, Broja who gets odd minutes and is benched from the beginning in Southampton is a generational talent.

Relative to Albania? Who is the best striker in our history?Drini wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 3:51 amGenerational talent? Really?RedFootballs wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 5:59 pm Broja bodying Dias lol

I never compared him to Haaland but I absolutely say he is a generational talent for Albania. We have never had a striker like this. Our best striker ever is Bogdani who wasn't even a goalscorer, just a good target man. This type of player is a once in a lifetime talent for us, we barely produce fast players let alone tall and fast strikers.
First we went from saying he wouldn't make the bench for Greece and he should be with Albania U21 to comparing him to Haaland (nobody mentioned Haaland ) that's how we know where he's going

It's the opposite. It shows Albanian fans are very REACTIONARY as usual and will rain down criticism on a young player for playing a decent 15 mins against Man City. If you watched Broja in Vitesse you knew there was a talent there, that was his first pro seasonDallku wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 11:42 pm Damn.. Strong opinions, weakly held. I've said before we shouldn't flip our opinion if one game he plays bad for Albania bc all players do that especially young players. Just look at what happened with Strakosha on here. He was one of our crucial players a couple years ago and now he's worse than Selmani

Vrioni has been out of the Tirol squad for 2 straight games with no explanation
Update : 'Torn Muscle Fibre'. Really hoping this isn't another long-term injury.

For Albania he is a generational talent though. I think he still needs more time but the talent is clearly there. He just needs to put in his work and not let all this praise get into is head like it's happened in the past with some highly touted Albanian youngsters.Drini wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 3:51 amGenerational talent?
