With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!
This season Bajrami has scored on Milan, Roma, Inter, and Lazio. Assisted on Juve.
We thought Bogdani was impressive but it took him a decade+ to score on multiple "big teams" while Bajrami is doing it in one season...and as a midfielder too.
Bajrami is weird player because he's often lethargic when you watch him play but one thing you can't deny is that he's productive.
Rashica scored goals on all the big clubs at age 22/23 too, but you called him a fraud and said he would be back at KF Vushtrria in no time.
Sadly, he has not been able to enjoy this level of success with Kosovo, where he has been outshined by the “donkey” Muriqi, who could not buy a goal in Serie A, and Valon Berisha, a player who scored his last club goal almost 4 years ago in the Austrian Bundesliga (never scored in a top 4 league).

International play tends to be slower but more physical. Muriqi is a physical player. Rashica isn't.

Rashica has scored a grand total of 0 goals in 16 EPL games this season. He's going to get relegated and will be playing in the lower divisions starting August so he's not too far away from KF Vushtrria. It's a very realistic possibility.
His value went from 38 million to 8 million in less than 2 years.

The point is that success for club will not always translate to success for country.
Best Albanian attacker of the last decade played in “the depths of Europe.” Did not stop him setting the assist record though..
This is not true.
For the most part you are with the NT exactly what you are at your club.
That's why there is a significant difference between Dermaku and Kumbulla/Djimisiti, Broja and Cikalleshi/Manaj, Bare and Ramadani, etc...
You could say that someone like Bajrami has underperformed with the NT but that's because it's a really small sample size. He also started his Serie A season pretty poor but time showed his qualities.
Rashica:
Top 4 league goals.. Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen, Leipzig, Gladbach, Eintracht, Wolfsburg
Best country goals/assists.. Gl Bulgaria (+1 assist), Gl Montenegro
Muriqi:
Top 4 league goals.. Atalanta
Best country goals/assists.. Gl England (+2 assist), Gl Czech Republic, Gl Slovenia, Gl Greece, Gl Bulgaria, Gl Montenegro
Valon Berisha:
Top 4 league goals.. 0
Best country goals/assists.. Gl England x2, Gl Finland, Assist Czech Republic, Assist Turkey
By your logic, Rashica should have the better NT career between these 3 players, but this is far from the case. Explain how..

Goals in Bundesliga are misleading because it's not a competitive league. Bayern dominate that league so much that they get bored and lose focus often and concede dumb goals regularly. They will give Rashica a goal or two when they know they can score 5 on the other end.
Rashica showed in the EPL his true level. So he's the same player at club and NT.
Muriqi might not be Lazio level but he's Fenerbache level. At his level he should still be able to score against the Slovenias, Montenegros, etc.. Especially since his skillset suits international level too.
Valon Berisha could easily play in a top league, just not Lazio... similar to Muriqi. These are not bad players at all but not at that high top league level. They are mid/relegation top league level. They should still be good enough for international and they are.

Absolutely false!
The year Rashica scored on Bayern (2019-20), they conceded less goals than any team in EPL or Serie A, with only Real and Atletico conceding less in Spain.
