We played well ngl.

I think its obvious that Broja 100% starts, Muci on the left and Bajrami in the 10 for me.

No idea who starts RW.

Asllani/Ramadani

Mitaj Djmsiti Ismajli Balliu.
Toss up in goal.

Laci works hard but just doesn't have the levels of technique required. Would rather Bajrami in the 10 to have that and Muci on the left instead of roadrunner who'll lose the ball 100 times.

What I like about Sylvinho is that he's willing to change and experiment.

He tried putting another CM(Laci) to help Ramadani and Asllani but Laci is just not him. Too weak physically and panics on the ball. Both him and Ramadani lost the ball in dangerous position that could've easily been Sweden goals if not for Strakosha.

Albania should really consider putting Mitaj in midfield. Desperately need some composure and technical ability in there.

Kumbulla must not be fit at all because this Mihaj guy is an amateur.

Broja was playing on his own in the first half because Asani and Bajrami were terrible and just passing backwards all the time. Bajrami got going a little in the 2nd half but Broja was already tired then.

Ramadani is a good player for his club but he isn't much help to us if we don't get some proper creativity and progressive passing in midfield.

Asllani needs to be that guy but he doesn't really step up either, he goes backwards too much, we need a more daring midfielder who takes responsibility.

Kace used to be pretty good in his time. We could do with someone else like that.

Ramadani did really well..

3 interceptions
3 tackles
1 block
1 clearance
4 of 5 ground duels won
1 of 1 aerial duel won
7.1 rating on the night

Absolute menace in midfield! Crucial player for us!

Chile was fielding a lineup with average age 30.2 years old compared to Albania 26.8. How could a bunch of old guys just blow us away like that? At this age, we should have been too much for them physically..

All the momentum going in was with Albania. Undefeated 8 in a row, recently ran over big Slavic teams like Poland and Czechia, 4 goals allowed all qualifiers, 1st in group, etc.

What a bunch of lions 🦁🦁🦁 those Chileans turned out to be. 34 year old striker Vargas is 5’8” and won 4 of 4 aerial duels. Ball fell to him less than 20 minutes in, 1 touch smashes it home from just inside the box. Big fan of that guy now.. 🔥🔥

Asllani can be frustrating at times. For Inter too.

He plays like he's some 6'4 holding midfielder. Bro struggles defensively (goal came from him not pressing the crosser too). The least he should do is be more daring and creative.

The issue with Asllani is that with Inter he plays as DLP but with us as a CM. But for the last two games, he magically went back to DLP. That's Ramadani's zone. So both of them were in a DM role, and Bajrami sucked for 90% of the time (horrible, horrible performances from him apart from 2-3 decent moments).

To me the worst part by far was the wings. I know Muci ain't no world beater but he can take on defenders. f***, I'll even take Uzuni at this point. Better miss some sitters, than have no sitters. Unfortunately we're here because of Asani, and because of Asani we will go down.

I don’t see how you can call up Sugar Ray to EURO ahead of Daku, especially if the latter keeps starting in Russia.

Goal Poland, assist Czechia is more than anything Ray has done for NT.

We may see both, there is a meeting next month to potentially increase the list from 23 to 26 players for the Euros. Most coaches appear to favor the increase, so it's likely to happen. In that case, the strikers should be Broja, Daku, Manaj and Cika. Room for another winger and maybe a cb or midfielder.
