Mitaj is too slow to be a wingback. He has no pace and everyone is so focused on Hysaj while Mitaj has been getting torched defensively for a long time now. His technical ability is needed in midfield.

I don't think is gonna happen but it will make sense to change formation to 4-4-2 diamond. Get rid of inverted wingers, play Ismajli as right back and Adrian Bajrami as left back. Djimsiti and Kumbulla as centrebacks with Mihaj and Ajeti as backups Ramadani, Mitaj, Asllani and Bajrami on midfield and Daku-Broja, Manaj-Broja Daku-Muci or Manaj-Muci on attack depending from opponent we face and players form.

I can’t believe some actually want to go back to a 3 back formation..
Albania has had all its success using the 4-5-1.
Qualified for both tourneys using that formation.
We lose in Prague and everyone wants to turn things upside down..?
Come on guys..
We are Albania..
One of the weakest domestic leagues in Europe meanwhile competing in UNL B against the likes of Czechia and Ukraine.
If anything, I would say that we have overachieved.
Albania was undefeated in last 6 against Slavic opponents before this match!
We cannot expect to go into superior teams back garden and run right through them every single time..

Georgia favoured to beat Albania in Tbilisi..
1 ~47%
X ~28%
2 ~25%
Visitor wins roughly 1 of 4 times, and positive result more than 1 of 2 times.
Over/under 2.5 goals
Over ~43%
Under ~57%
Both teams to score
Yes ~46%
No ~54%
(Opening odds Bet365)
Here’s to hoping Georgia actually comes out to play this time in front of their home fans. Back in Tirana, they put us to sleep..
Albania will be motivated looking to avenge our last 2 defeats in a row!
I have confidence that we will do well here..

Albania's NT doesn't rely on its domestic league. Albania is proving with every game that it doesn't have the players to play with a 433 formation, it's become painful to watch our midfield get dominated game in and out, our wingers can't beat opponents one on one, Albania needed Manaj to play the game of his life to beat Ukraine.Princ wrote: Sun Oct 13, 2024 7:41 pm I can’t believe some actually want to go back to a 3 back formation..

I said it before the national league began, in these matches we will find out that Sylvinho's luck ran out. You can only get lucky for so long with some of these players.
Just hope in the world cup qualifiers Broja is back. He's the only chance Albania has of pulling a miracle.

It's not that Tuci showed anything against the Czechs. He was bad himself.
It only shows how horrific Daku was. I've never seen a worse performance from a striker ever. Even Bekim Balaj right now would've done better than Daku.
Sucks for Kumbulla but I get it.
It's a shame that there are no alternatives in midfield. Laci and Ramadani treat the ball like it's a live grenade.

Sylvinho finally decided to make a reactive change based on the players' performances. For me, the biggest disappointment against the Czech Republic was Kumbulla. I expected him to shine against Chory, but the opposite happened. He was at fault for both goals. Hysaj could have been benched for a long time. He has had consistently poor performances, and his level against the Czech Republic was not the worst. Mitaj was even worse, but there is no suitable replacement for him. Daku was also very poor. His first touch was terrible, and his work rate was bad. Starting Tuci, who has a powerful shot and has scored many spectacular goals throughout his career, makes sense.
