With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!
Kaçe will stay with PAOK until the end of May
The Greek play-off is still going on between them AEK, PAO and Panionios
The team who finishes 1st will be at Champions League 3rd qualification round
FSHF let the player stay on his demand because he messed up against AEK (took red card and a 3 match ban)
So he will miss Qatar friendly for sure
He can be dismissed earlier if PAOK secures 1st place earlier or has no hope for it

Anyone know where Kaçe is?
Agreed. Gashi is not a counter attacking player and he's better in a system where many opportunities are created. Maybe he should start against Romania but definitely not against France or Switzerland. I'm kinda surprised DB never tried him out as a forward though.
Lenjani and Rashica seem like the ideal wing pairing. Lenjani is probably our best offensive player and is always one of our better performers. Lenjani is a great fit for Di Biaisi.
Agreed, if Gashi starts angmy game it should be the Romania one.
In our 4-3-3 formation the ideal pairing would be as you said Lenjani and Rashica, i feel we would have an great chance against any team in our group.
Memushaj is kinda a big loss. He goes under the radar here but he plays really well when he's played in the central midfield above the two holding/defensive midfielder when we bunker. He plays well on the counter and he has all the qualities GDB is looking for defensively. He's just not a wing player or an attacking player and for the life of me I can't understand why GDB played him as a winger or an attacking player a few times.
I would like to see him start against France as he played very well against them in that friendly back in 2014. He was great on the counter and put in a good game defensively.
I'm not sure how useful Kace would be in this game, I can imagine we'd be losing the possession battle 70-30. I'd start Kace against Switzerland and Romania though.
DB needs to grow a pair and leave either Kukeli, Shala or Balaj off the main list. Leaving Rashica out, the one guy with some actual technique/ball control, would be a joke.

That's bullshit, PAOK have to release Kaçe. He should of been playing in both friendlies. I was looking foward to see Rashica and Kaçe in the same team.
