Albania at EURO 2016

On the 26th of May, 4 players will join the team this includes Xhaka, Aliji, Sadiku and Agolli. The next day Memushaj will leave the squad to join Pescare for their match on the 29th of May. On that same day, Kukeli and Veseli will join the National team, with Kace also coming on the 30th of May. On the same day, De Biazi will have to reduce his squad to 23 players and inform UEFA. Now what I don't get is what's the point of calling Kukeli and Veweli if they have only one day to prove themselves unless De Biazi has already made his choice. Same goes with Kace, the day that De Biazi has to hand his list of players that will be going to France is also the same day Kace returns, so does that mean Kace is out cuz there is no way someone can prove their worth in one training session

Hey Tom, welcome to the forum.

A bunch of people will be traveling from the US, Canada and the U.K. to France and going to all three games.
Thank you! I look forward to meeting fans out there. Do you know where the majority of Albania fans will be based for the three games? And is it likely that people will go to the stadiums for the match-day atmosphere even without tickets? I'm hoping to capture the carnival mood!
I can't say for sure but I'll be flying to Nice after the Lens game and stay there and travel to Marseille and Lyon on game days.

There are a lot of Albanians in the UK/Germany and Swtizlend who I am guessing will travel to the games and the atmosphere will be pretty crazy, especially for the game vs. the Swiss, since that's our first game as well.

As for ticketless fans I can see some show up as well. When I travelled to an away game in Leverkusen in 2001 I heard there were 3-4K Albanians fans outside the stadium who had no tickets.
Excellent, bodes well for a good time! And thanks for the message, would be delighted to link up if at all possible. Perhaps we can film a chat over a few beers in the pre-match build up.

The opener against the Swiss will be incredible. An instance similar to that Leverkusen away game would make for a cracking atmosphere.

Reliastically does anyone think we'll actually pass the group, knowing de Biasi he will put a defensive formation with the likes of Lila Kukeli, and leave Rashica and Kace who can actually create something

For me a win is all I'm hoping for. It doesn't matter who it comes against I just want to see our team win one game at this stage..

Knowing De Biasi I think his goal is to tie the first games 0-0 and leave fate up to our last game vs Romania which is the most winnable one but still difficult as they all are at this stage.

It would probably his dream to have us win that last game 1-0 and be the first team to advance to the round of 16 scoring only 1 goal :zgerdhimje:

Realistically we will lose all three games like this:
2-0 to Switzerland (Shaqiri will score the first goal in the first ten minutes, Xhaka misses an open sitter and Behrami scores the second around the 70th minute)
1:0 to France (last minute goal)
3-0 to Romania (first goal by the 20th minute, the next two goals in the dying minutes)
