Ok even with our injured players, we still have Xhaka who can play CB if needed. He's fast and can combine with Cana's positioning and strength to out muscle Mkhitaryan and his friends. I'm still optimistic and it's a home game, the players will be extra motivated by the crowd.
We can still field a very solid team like this:
Balaj ST
Gashi LM Memushaj CM Roshi RM
E. Kaçe CDM M. Basha CDM
Aliji LB T. Xhaka CB Cana CB Hysaj RB
E. Berisha GK
Subs- Cikalleshi, Abrashi, Lenjani

It's pointless putting up formations and lineups as DB wont use common sense and pick our best players and an attacking formation, he will stick to what he knows and most likely play with 3 DMs and 4 fullbacks like he has all qualifying. One thing I would like to see is Basha in the starting lineup as I reckon he's our best CM at the moment. Also last time I watched Xhaka play CB for Basel he was a shambles and if I remember correctly was directly at fault for 2 goals as in big blunders. Not sure if he just had a bad game but it didn't leave a good impression.

Meha has returned to the team(wife gave birth). Don't know where the allegations of a feud of DB came from. The only feud they may have is Meha being a technical player.
Ajeti isn't technically out of the match. He's still waiting for the Okay from FIFA which seems dumb since he already played in a few friendlies for us and FIFA couldn't make the decision before he played against France/Italy? Furthermore, how long does It take them to review his case? Just seems odd that he has to wait last minute which shows lack of effort on FIFA since this should have been decided back in November. They probably don't like the idea of dual nationality players so they just put it off hoping the player just says f*** it
Also according to transfermarket Xhaka has starting 11 or so matches as a CB/Sweeper for Basel in league play. For me anything over Curri is ideal as he doesn't have the legs any more. Lila may be an alternate too(better at CB than as a winger!)

They came from this post of his brother. Btw i'm glad he came back and seems De Biasi is starting Memushaj as CM over Basha.

Taking what somebody's brother says too seriously is one thing. But to take a man who drinks apple martinis seriously is a whole new level.Dragoi wrote:

The silver lining is that would still be more goals that we score usually in a qualifying campaign. Progress.Shpati wrote:Had a dream we lost 7-5.
