I was actually happy to see Salihi come on tbh. He's a decently skilled poacher for our standards. Better having him in the box than that Serie B guy and our destroyers. But his scissor kick attempts drive me crazy.
Lucky win nonetheless. Hopefully the coach learns something for a change. We won't be playing against 10 men all the time.

Who cares? Most of these players suck for their club.DigBick wrote:Because he sucks at his club?Mbreti i Kosoves wrote:No reason why Lenjani should not start every match.

Anyhow, I still doubt we're going to get more than 3rd place. And that only guarantees a play off spot.

Allahu is good.
Shitty game but glad we got the win.
Cukalleshi, gashi and lenjani showed up, the rest were horrible.
Kukeli and abrashi should never start, especially ahead of meha.
Xhaka and roshi very disappointing today.

We got away with this one. I know many wont agree cause we've had several chances, the post, cikalleshis penalty etc but tbh Armenia never got into their second gear. When they wanted they proved they could be very lethal.
De Biasi must realise certain things now. Gashi is a must starter for instance.

First time Di Biasi made some amazing subs. Lenjani and Gashi changed the game completely especially Lenjani. Lenjani missed a few chances but damn does he create chances and is a handful for defenders especially an amateur backline.
The Salihi sub wasn't even bad either. Putting in another forward to open the game is smart even if Salihi is Salihi.
Gashi! Class. Strange that he was playing as a holding midfield earlier but you see his all around quality.
That is what happens when your back is against the wall and you're FORCED to attack and get a result. We have the players so please stop playing guys like Abrashi as a winger Gianni Di Budalli

I'm worried that Albania couldn't even properly close off a game with 10 minutes left, you got the lead, and playing against a shitty 10 man team.
Do they not practice time-killing? They hardly went to the corners. And our guys looked kind of selfish up top. It's like the all of them wanted their goal once it was 2-1. Which is fine, but you have to do it properly. They should've moved the ball around more.

If we scored first, we probably would've drew since Curri and Lila would've came in.artan wrote:First time Di Biasi made some amazing subs.

I must say we got pretty lucky. Hysaj gave a clear penalty to them, and it could've easily been 2-0. There was no coming back from that. Also, the post last minute...
That being said they got lucky too, but this game could have ended very differently.

Xhaka much better the second half. He's somewhat limited technically but he's a "warrior" and puts in all around performance. Not his fault he's relied on to be a winger and/or an attacking midfielder..Funky Ben wrote:Allahu is good.

Roshi was limited as he's a counter attacking player. When a team sits back and bunker his skillset isn't being used exactly. But there were much worst players than him today and he was just average. I can't fault him as our offense for 2/3 of the match was through Agolli crossing the ball from everywhere on the pitch.
Mavraj is amazing. Amazing technical skills from a CB, great positioning play and made key stops. Cana's worst performance I've ever seen for the NT truthfully.
