Serbia is not in the EU either and yet it's one of hottest talent fields in Europe. Everyone wants a piece of that talent pie.

You guys can make all the excuses you want. It's pretty simple.

Ok, first of all I'm agreeing with most of what you're saying..

The top Serbian clubs have an interest in selling young players to Europe and turning a profit. In fact, it's the same with alot of Eastern European teams like Zagreb, Shaktar, etc. They either develop young players or buy other teams young players on the dime and turn a big profit on them. These teams have a long history of doing it, they've produced good talents which gives them credibility and their teams do qualify for European competition which gives them a chance to show case their talent on a big stage. Bottom line they care about youth development because they know they can make money off of it.

Alot of the FA for these countries are known to force the NT in calling up their so called young stars and starting them for more exposure and to get a higher transfer fee (This is actually bad and hurts their NT). Look at the Croatian players from Zagreb that were sold this summer (Pjaca and the other guy) for big fees too.

Albanian clubs don't think like that and don't do any of that. Their main idea of making money is to fix games. They don't care about investing in youth academies as it doesn't make them money in the short term. None of these teams can qualify for Europe and they don't even bother(They fix the games instead). Skenderbeu, despite all their bribery and match fixing, actually looked like they might be our version of Dinamo Zagreb although they don't have any youth academy in place and have to rely on buying other young players.

BTW, Alioski seems like a legit player.. Probably good enough to start for us with his current form.

Serbia is the ultimate proof that your argument is invalid. They sold all over europe, for massive amount of money, some of the greatest footballistic scum I have ever seen.

Matic 32 mil €
Ivanovic 11 mil €
(these 2 players alone make almost the entire cost of our NT)
Markovic 14 mil €
Fejsa 9 mil €

Hot talent field my ass, serbia sells shit players for gold and that's exclusively because they fabricated a completely false image of talent exporters.

Lol I remember when Juventus purchased Krasic for 15 mil €, a Roshi-style player without any kind of talent. Comic to say the least.

Strakosha is very young, i think we shouldn't worry much about who is gonna remplace Berisha. Not that we should worry about that as Berisha might be able to play maybe still 8 or 9 years.

Look at Shehi still play at 39 years old :) Van der Saar played untill 41 at Manchester United. I think someday we could even see some competition between Berisha and Strakosha.

This forum is getting better and better. Comedy central right here.

I think no club wants Sadiku because he's ugly, it's just getting in his way of the true footballing talent he has. Diego Armando Sadiku.

Artan +1. Nothing more to add.

Strakosha is pretty raw. He makes some silly mistakes by coming out when he shouldn't and things of that nature but it's normal, I think? His quick reflexes give hope for his future and he's actually better than Berisha with his feet.

He's obviously no Donnarumma but that kid is a freak of nature and will be world class.

We also have Alban Hoxha who's pretty good.
