I keep telling people but emblems/insignia are a huge factor in it too. You play for Kosova and what do you sing during the national anthem? Nothing. What flag is waved at your game? One your own people didn't want.

Most Kosovar talent is in the diaspora, so if they feel patriotic enough to leave the West for Kosova, then they'll likely also be a patriot that would rather play for kuq e zi edhe hymni i flamurit tone...

Kosova is a fad right now but it will fade and our efforts will once again be united into making the strongest Albanian team we can.

So Kosova called up a 16 year old from Barcelona youth academy? When someone said they called up Kabashi I was puzzled as I thought they thought Elvis Kabashi..

Very ambitious by their staff. Even if this 16 year old has no merit in being called up and there's probably a good chance he'll flop I still applaud them for locking in talents when they're young. Now if our federation would have only done the same with past talents instead of calling up useless players like Salihi and Bulku..

But we know it's all politics with the FSHF. In the past they vouch for their friends and former teammates to be called up to the NT.

Wish we would have at least gotten Bernard Berisha. This guy looks legit and would without a doubt perform better than any of our wingers.

Word for word said great. Also like i said Albanians in Kosovë (those are the ones i know most) are so so fickle, one loss and they will be swearing 'nuk ka kurgjo prej ksaj ekip edhe kta lojtar'. When they hit 3 losses in a row which i predict in November will occur and they are bottom or second bottom with 1 point and Albania on the contrary has 3 wins and 9 points they will all come back towards Albania. The fans in Kosovë are so bad they will act as if they never supported Kosovë and be mad thag it split the Albania team up and made them weaker, they have this type of mentality, they go with the wind, the hype was with Kosovë for a few months and it will disappear.

We got Grezda and will get all the rest. As long as we get Avdijaj the repercussions of the Kosovë team are minimal.

Imo Albania's only chance is if Bunjaku decides to recruit Serb players. Albanians from Kosove will naturally choose Kosove before the ANT. It's only natural.
