If you got physical donkeys, use their physique. It's embarrassing having midgets in their 30s like Silva and Iniesta out-running donkeys like Roshi, Balaj, Lila, Lenjani. These guys shouldn't have given them an inch of space, yet they just fell asleep hoping the 90 minutes were over.

They pressed the shit out of us, but we let them off without pressing at all, and cowered back to the bus.

Also I want to say this if you don't think De Biasi has done anything for this team just realize we're complaining about losing to Spain... That would have been unheard of just 2+ years ago..

We were pressing when Spanish players were reaching the final 3rd and to be fair, we were pretty successful at it. Pressing higher up the pitch would've been a massive waste of energy and would expose many holes which these Spaniards would take advantage of.

This is so bullshit. Iniesta and Silva play at the highest level possible and normally have supreme fitness levels. Roshi is a 20 minute player and then gets tired, Balaj has never ran that much in his life, Lila plays in Greece where payers walk most of the time and Lenjani hasn't touched the field in 2 years. Of course these Spaniards are much superior not only technically but also physically.

No one here that criticizes De Biasi has ever called any of his performances a masterclass. It's a cowardly way of playing that sooner or later blows up in your face.

I don't get what's so hard about finding a middle ground? Not going all out like Bunjaki with crap defenders, and not cowering completely.

There is a middle ground. Professional coaches know how to find that middle ground. Amateurs like DB and Bunjaki go to the extremes.
