Trajner i ri - (New coach) ?

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

We really can't bunker all that effectively as our players lack discipline not to f*** up. Take for example Iceland. They bunker as much and if not more then us but their players are much more disciplined that us. Simple shit like making clearances, not making poor back passes, etc, is a challenge for our players. It seems to me every goal we've conceded over the past 16 months or so have been from poor clearances/poor back passes, etc.. I think France in the Euros was the first time we conceded that wasn't from a poor clearance or pass?

Ideally we would be best under a high press system. Our midfield of Xhaka-Abrashi-Memushaj would work well under that and Kace as well. Sadiku up front would work well. We would need a new LW(give a shot to Latifi or Grezda?) and too bad we were too late for Alioski. I think he could have been a good fit for us.

I agree that our hunkering is not great. I was terrified when our defenders were trying to dribble in the zone several times yesterday. The whole idea behind bunkering is to counter effectively at least 3-4 times a game and of those snatch a goal or two. With our setup we cannot do that at all. Balaj was utterly useless against Spain and we just don't have the personnel to execute a proper counter like Iceland does for example. I think Ganiu was hoping to pull one like he did against Portugal with Balaj upfront but stuff like that happens 1/100 games.

A thing we can agree on. You've made that Kosova thread yours with so much bullshit you've posted on it :talumsha:

Based on past history you'd think Dallku would be the most vocal in his displeasure with Kosova yet I find him one of the most constructive voices in there :)

Tbh you can't claim RA albos being more advanced mentally(one of Dallku's many great quotes) and call kosovars unloyal/patriotic( because they choose to represent or root for Kosove), at the same time.

He's claimed that for years. At least he's consistent and we know who he is and what he thinks. Those thinking like him, but lurking in the shadows and hiding behind the guise of 'Nje komb, nje kombtare' are more dangerous.

Spot on! For example the way Rashica was attacked when he switched, you'd think he decided to play for Serbia.

And the mentality difference exists, it just depends how you see it.

No, calling the likes of you dangerous. You're the type who curses 'Kosovars' and views them as being less outside of this forum. I know your type.

If you expect albanians from Albania to feel about Kosova NT like albanians from Kosove feel for Kombetare then you're expecting too much. People in Albania will see Kosova nt as foreign, they might have sympathy about it and root for it at some point but for us it's like watching Vllaznia playing a foreign team . As albanians we want them to win and root for them but that's all about it.

lololol according to immanuel kant, those who make up shit about other people, tend to say the kind of stuff that they themselves would be capable of
