Offensively the problem is finishing. They get around the box and a million times, but f*** up the final shot.

As I said, Sadiku would've buried Cikalleshi's shot. DB fucks up the selection once again.

It's not only finishing. It's creating chances. In that 2nd half we never went to Italy's box besides the "garbage time" after the 85th minute. Pushing the ball forward is a struggle but the fact that out players are slow as shit has a lot to do with it.

That's 90% to do with stamina. They "create" a lot more early on. Afterwards, they just go into a lull.

Our U21 will play a friendly tomorrow against Malta at 15:00. Hopefully there will be a streaming or TVSH shows it. Curious to watch Ndoj and Seferi .

Well if your stamina runs out after 45 minutes you have even worse issues.

Sadiku came on and when he touched the ball he looked like an overweight uncle that just had 6 beers. He moved in slow motion. Brutal to watch.

Sadiku is a finisher and DB plays him as a winger. Reminds me of when Kuzhe played Salihi as a winger vs. Bosnia. You know that's when the coaches jump the shark.

You're a weird mofo.

I'd give a hundred Lilas, Agollis and Cikalleshis for a young midfielder with the ball control, calmness and the foot IQ of a player like Kukeli.

It's time that Strakosha, Ajeti, Veseli replaced the old trio of Cana, Mavraj, Berisha.

Strakosha and Veseli are rough around the edges, but they don't make blunders. Strakosha is actually good with his feet! That's a first in Albanian history.

Veseli also isn't slow like Mavraj and gets caught out.

You can keep players with foot IQ. I want some with brain IQ.

DeBiasi saying that he always had in mind to put Grezda and Latifi in to the journalists. This prick had to made changes in the 60th min , makes nonsense pulling Roshi out while Sadiku had to come as sub instead of Cikalleshi. Grezda for Lila and probably i would've played Xhaka or Abrashi for Basha in the second half . De Biasi's answers to the journalists arrogant style when they criticize him should be the end of his work with Albania def. if we can't manage to beat Israel this June.

Didn't watch the match but this was a a good result for our guys. We simply don't have the talent to beat a team like Italy on the road. Our striker is a bench warmer in Turkey, our winger(Converted winger) is a bench player for a village team in Greece, our other winger is a spot starter in Russia, one of our midfielders plays in the second Swiss league, the other central midfielder plays in Serie B, our Left Back plays in Azerbajian, etc.

I don't blame the players as they're trying the best they can. The talent is simply not there and it's because we've neglected Kosovar/diaspora talents to appease the former superliga scrubs at FSHF who want shitty superliga/albanian born players like them represented. This team is slowly fading into irrelevancy with out the diaspora talent.

BTW, why wasn't Xhaka and Abrashi not playing?

DB wanted "creative midfielders" and Basha was the worst player in the field.
