Hungary were 3 goal underdogs before the match. But don't tell them that, they probably think they are better than Germany.

Yes, they tied with France and the poor result of Germany pushed me put this kamikadze bet:

Hungary are a better version of Albania 2016. 11 wolves on the field but with some technique. And more confident.

Realistically that is what we should be aiming to be.

Although I think since Albania are strong physically we can match some of their strengths and have a decent chance to win, they also won't be as motivated.

They also only scored 2 goals in 3 games. They're 5th place favorites to win the Euros right now. Don't pay attention to the stats but how they played and they haven't convinced at all in all 3 games. They got outplayed by Scotland too.

Imagine relying on "odds" to say how good a team is.
Anyone can win the Euros as Greece and Denmark have shown in the past but odds are indicative of a general consensus on what people who bet money on the game think. If England didn't have such a massive following they'd have even lower odds. They have managed to disappoint every single tournament I've ever watched them play.
Betting is possibly the worst way to look at whos good, such an American thing to look at what "Vegas" thinks

Opening odds via Bet365..

England +150 (~37%)
Draw +210 (~30%)
Germany +190 (~32%)

To qualify:
England -125 (~52%)
Germany -106 (~48%)

Terrific matchup and will be a real test for both sides.

Then it's a perfect test to see how far we've come or if we've regressed.

Having watched the group games I think England are favorites to go through. Germany has been leaking goals whereas England has conceded 0. History tells me Germanys qualifies via PKs. This will be the strongest matchup of its bracket and a likely finalist but I predict a very boring affair.

The winner of Germany vs England will eventually face Wales, Denmark, Netherland, Sweden, Czech Rep to reach the finals. What an easy path considering the other teams left.
