With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

You don't have to worry about that. Duka and Rama will make sure that the stadium is only full of politicians and their families. The atmosphere will be super lame but at least there wont be incidents.
But I feel sorry for Kukesi because they were clearly provoked. Polish fans do this ALL THE TIME.. they did it in Bosnia about a week ago. All they do is travel to get into fights and cause problems.. Even the Legia players provoked after scoring the first goal.. Not saying provocations justify violence but for a freaking lighter? come on..
Ci kemi keto budalliqe tani. Uefa knew about the problems with the stadium and that is why they sent a security director or whatever the f*** he is called to check for any security problems before and during the game. Megjithate, kame shume simpati per Kukesin si ekip, Kukesi eshte komplet ekip amator me organizim fshataresk duke filluar qe nga presidenti deri te tifozet. Let this be a lesson to all our teams, don't throw shit and if you fall victim of the provocations of the opposing fans, you are only to blame. We are a small country and already on the bad side of Uefa, lets not make their job to punish us much easier. Tani Forca Skenderbeu!
Shakoduka keeps talking trash as a fool, we should not act like we are more civilized than anyone else in Balkan, we are exactly same shit or maybe even worse but compared to others we always was eliminated by shitty teams. Why he doesn't says the truth for the sake of our football, tonight were fans also from other tifo groups, not only from Kukesi and their mission was to fight with polish fans,. I had opportunity to follow football matches in several countries of Balkans and i sadly should admit that albanian police are by far worst police for sporting events. They are extremely rude and incompetent, people can bring inside stadium everything beside fact that you should wait in line more than anywhere else in europe. Maybe looks that match it was interrupted unfairly but albanians should understand that you can't throw opposite players with objects, almost in every match that i was present in national team games, our fans was throwing, coins, lighters etc.I hope we understand that Uefa did us favor and we should train the police to manage sport events otherwise this won't be isolated incident and probably Kombetarja will pay the price.

I read that a Polish player was hit by a stone not a lighter.

Yeah we got fined against the Ukraine match when we were throwing all sorts of crap in the field. And you're absolutely right the Albanian police are a bunch of incompetent rude pricks who have no idea how to handle a sporting event.
Lmao at the sign. I'm a fan of the Armata Veriut now
I wouldn't put one incident like this and say that Albanians are bad fans. Those polish fans are practically neo-nazis and are some of the biggest instigators in football. That being said that player didn't deserve being peltered with a rock that fan is an idiot.

Agreed and Kukesi will and deserves to get punished..
but lets be honest.. you can't tell me that you didn't like to see those Polish neo-nazis get their asses kicked(fights is what they live for and deserve every bit of it). They went to Bosnia a week ago and beat the shit out of Sarajevo fans so I knew that they would go to do the same in Albania..

Yea, The Legia(and other Polish supporters) constantly display Kosovo je Srbija banners in their league matches. I really don't care but it seems idiotic to display that banner in their league matches..
It would be like in the Tirana derby or Skenderbeu vs Laci and the supporters have banners that say "CATALONIA IS SPAIN!". Totally random and makes no sense. Makes me think these supporter groups have political ties and are right wingers interfering politics with football...
Reminds me of Dutch fans going to Rome and wrecking 2,000 year old sculptures and architecture. You have some unemployed young men from working class families, that take their anger out by doing stupid shit.

How the f*** can Polish fans be neo-Nazis when the Nazis wanted to burn these people alive? It's like a black guy joining the KKK.
