Lol, this Georgia team is no joke, they defend like a unit and switch very fast to attack when they get the ball. Albania was to slow in the buildup and created nothing at all, very disappointed.

That's what you got out of this game lol? The entire team is shit against bunkers. We drew 0-0 with Faroe Islands.
It's simply not easy to play against them right now, they are a very good team, although I agree we have problems attacking deep blocks.

We need players who can play in tight spaces, Muci would be more ideal for this game.

Sylvinho needs a strategy to handle bunkers. If we can't break down Faroe Islands, we're not going to break down Georgia.

We need long balls to target men or long range shots. Regular tactics don't work here.

Georgia neutralized Broja too last we played..

Muci wouldn’t help here either.

You need a good big man against them and pump in crosses hoping to score a header or some other scraps inside the box.

Broja only played 45 minutes against them and he created a few chances and won a few corners by himself. That's more than the whole team did for 90 minutes today.

It was a cakewalk for Georgia to defend Asani, Manaj, Hoxha(once they figured him out), Seferi, and Spahiu. None of those players can play in tight spaces.

Strakosha - Not sure if he could've done better on the first goal. That was a nice shot and the Georgian had all the time and space to shoot. That was more on the midfield. Strakosha saved a few sitters because this result should've been uglier.

Ismajli and Kumbulla OK for the most part. Some bad moments too but they weren't the main issue.

Mitaj - His worst game in an Albanian shirt. He looked nervous and insecure. Bad on defense too.

Hysaj - Captain fantastic. He was the best player on the field but watch him get scapegoated by parrots for the loss.

Ramadani - Disaster. A game where you have a lot of possession just exposes how bad this guy is on the ball. Slow, struggled with basic passes and awkward touches.

Asllani - He was the only one trying to be direct in the first half. He tried and tried.. In the 2nd half he just ran out of gas and mistakes started to pile up. He's not used to be playing these heavy minutes.

Bajrami - Ghost

Asani - Nothing he can do when defenses are focused. That's just his true level.

Manaj - Lost every ball and duel. 1 good game in 37 matches doesn't make this guy good

Seferi and Spahiu are FK Gramshi as expected

Hoxha - very 1 dimensional and no end product too

Georgia has never been easy for us to play against..

We have a (3-4-9) record against them.

Last win was about 20 years ago and we have never won on the road.

They are nothing special but just a bad matchup for us.

Sagnol simply outsmarted Sylvinho, prepared game better,Georgia were patient and they knew their chance will come so they executed their gameplan perfectly. Sylvinho gambled with Hoxha and it backfired. With Hoxha on the pitch we lost Bajrami and Mitaj was less effective offensively,. Chakvetadze literally was toying with Ramadani and especially Asllani. I felt bad for the subs, Uzuni did okay but Spahiu and Seferi were painful to watch. Hysaj and Kumbulla had positive performances, but everyone else was shit.

This was an absurd game tactically. Georgia's team is worth like 2x Albania's on paper if we include injuries, and yet they were bunkering like Greece in 2004, forcing Albania to play like Barcelona or Spain.

We don't have the individual technique to play that kind of football. Even Asllani looked lost who's the most technical player on the ball.
