Albania’s best player according to Sofascore..

7.7 rating
Ground duels (won) 9(9)
Aerial duels (won) 4(2)
1 clearance
1 interception
5 tackles

Sofascore claims that Mitaj was the 2nd best player...

I think they were watching Netherlands vs Germany instead....

Lol I know he was actually sooo awful. I still can't believe Sylvinho called him over Muci.

The only positive from this game was Hoxha. We finally have a winger that isn't afraid to take on defenders. We haven't had that since Valdet Rama was playing for us.

This match showed us how much we desperately needed Broja, Daku, Muci

Asllani is becoming a passing merchant, probably what Inter wants from him, but I don't know how Albania will benefit from it. I'd like to see him play behind the striker.

What???

Asllani is a 6 who's forced to play beyond his comfort zone for Albania. Only thing he needs to develop is his defending but in that 2nd half he was clearly tired too so hard to blame him.

Asllani is the least of the problems. He's one of the very few good things. Problem is the attackers. And Bajrami passing the ball backwards every time he gets it is not it.

I see him being another Grezda at Rangers. Too inconsistent.

Last night we saw why Asllani won't get minutes under Inzaghi, he will only play to rest other players or when Inter is leading by two goals or more. Patience is most important trait on his position and unfortunately Asllani doesn't have it. There are few footballers on world football who have long pass and through pass ability as Xhaka, but he will never attempt low percentage passes even if his team is losing so that's difference between world class player and benchwarmer as Asllani.

Because the best player in the world at his position (after Rodri) plays over him.

Bayern offered 70 million for Calhanoglu but he rejected the move. Unlucky for Asllani becayse he would naturally have more minutes if it happened. How can 21 year old Asllani compete with a 70 million player at his prime??

Everyone on Inter's bench would be the best player for Albania. You're talking about a team that went to the Champions League final a year ago.

If Julian Alvarez was Albanian, Albanians would claim he's the worst player ever because he was Haaland's reserve.

Didn't he play box-to-box and CAM for Empoli? Asllani should at least take more risks, with the way he raises his hands calling for the ball all the time only to mostly pass it sideways is frustrating at times. We know Ramadani and Laçi don't have the quality and creativity of Asllani to shoot and pass the ball forward. Bajrami on the other hand is a very inconsistent player and I think that's the reason why he failed in Serie A.

is he supposed to dribble the whole team and score?? What is Asllani supposed to do in that game? His job is to get the ball to Bajrami, Asani, etc which he did and they are supposed to create something.

Not his fault his teammates play in the Korean league, sivaspor, Dubai league, Iranian, Croatian league, etc..

That's on Sylvinho to call up the best players available and not get influenced by agents and nepotism. You can't get lucky all the time.
