It won't be in the top 10 . It's better than the first song though and i'm glad Elhaida is there . Italy will win this time , mark my wordsNYVirus wrote:This is clearly going to get us first place, amirite?

That could certainly win the Eurovision Song Contest... in 1985 that is.Dragoi wrote:It won't be in the top 10 . It's better than the first song though and i'm glad Elhaida is there . Italy will win this time , mark my wordsNYVirus wrote:This is clearly going to get us first place, amirite?

I'm obviously kidding. That is a great song and the video that pays tribute to Spiderman, Ghost and Back to the Future is pretty amazing.

Both of Elhaida's songs were pretty boring. Won't even make it past the semi-finals. Lindita Halimi had a potential top 5 song from FiK, with a bit more editing work. Eurovision is an upbeat catchy bubble gum song contest, not a competition for long boring adult contempo songs.

Hmm, I don't think a "catch bubble gum song" has actually won since Lena from Germany (possibly the worst winner). In either case, I don't think Lindita and Elhaida are even on a similar level when it comes to singing ability, and I also thought Lindita's song was all over the place with its chaotic rhythm changes.DigBick wrote:Both of Elhaida's songs were pretty boring. The last Eurovision I watched live was when "Euphoria" from Sweden won it. It became clear within 15-20 seconds that song was going to win. You need catchy energetic songs for the contest.NYVirus wrote:Hmm, I don't think a "catch bubble gum song" has actually won since Lena from Germany (possibly the worst winner). Also Lena's live performance was pretty terrible, but I think the quality of songwriting is much important than the quality of the singer. Elhaida is probably a better singer, but the songs are too lackluster in energy.
