Yeah but Dutch league has also given the world Suarez, Ibra, Eriksen, etc...There are players who have flopped moving from one EPL team to another. And Rashica is only 19 as well.

:hi-bulku:
That is also true, althought i hope medias don't kill him, i remember Hysaj when he was 18-19 was just a good player and media wasn't making such a big deal about him, and look now and compare with Januzaj... Albanians people and medias have to be paient about Rashica.

Januzaj got screwed by that big fat contract he got and his father only made matters worse. Rashica is nowhere close to the same situation where Januzaj was, he still has to prove himself to get a huge contract.

Rashica will never get the same hype of that Januzaj. Januzaj was a highly coveted diaspora talent coming through United ranks. Even when United signed him to their academy for a small fee he was getting hyped and he was only like 14 at the time. That's a potent combination for Albanians to think he's the next Ronaldo.. Plus, his dad neutered him so hard

Milot Rashica on the other was a player that played for Kosova Vushtrria and the Albanian U17,19 teams before joining a midtable Dutch side this summer for a small transfer fee. He's only a known commodity among us and some other Albanian fans who follow the NT. Majority don't even know he exists or thinks he's trash because he's playing in Holland. I wouldn't be surprised if people think Manaj is a better player because he plays for Inter Milan. Overall, he's in a good spot..

I don't get why people write off the Dutch league. It's certainly better than Croatia or Switzerland.

You guys are seriously comparing Januzaj to Rashica?

Every time I watched Januzaj my reaction was: "Wow, this dude is the most talented player of Albanian ancestry I've ever seen". It has nothing to do with playing for United or whatever, he just is. He has supreme skill level no Albanian has, way more talented than even Shaqiri(who played for Bayern) IMO.

When I watch Rashica(seen him a couple times for the u-21) my reaction is: "Umm... ok lets see more, maybe he just had a mediocre game or didn't take is seriously".

So in conclusion I just hope Rashica is better than Roshi. I sure as hell don't expect a Januzaj.

LedZep do you honestly think Januzaj would make a difference at this point considering the way we play? He has the physicality of a 12 year old gymnastics girl. I don't think someone with that physicality can play with a bunch of anti-footballer or athletes at the top of their game.

He looked like Maradona to me at Utd, but the fact that he's failed over and over, shows how natural talent is only half the battle.

I think he would be perfect for this team to balance it a little. He's not a physical player and might not do the dirty work but at least he's normal height and pretty quick/fast. He could be deadly in counter attacks... Players like that can decide games by just one moment of individual brilliance. The closest player we have who can "sort of" do that is Cikalleshi. Pretty sad heh?

Rashica is not an anti-footballer either. In fact he might be softer than Januzaj but hopefully his offense makes up for it.

Lol it's not a bad thing that people underestimate Rashica because when he comes to the National Team they will be suprised that a 19 year old is much better than pretty much everyone ready there. Plus with him only being in Holland for 6 months and achieving this growth it will be great to see how much he will inprove in his second seen.

Anyway, there is a Albanian named Esad Morina who is really doing numbers in the German U21 league. Not only that but when he played for German youths his numbers are also great. Maybe some of you know him already but he looks a good player and he is very patriotic, so i hope he achieves as much as possible.

I didn't see but it look like Hysaj had a good game in Villarreal once again and actually was the only defender (alongside with the super strong Koulibaly) who wasn't drop out from the defence while others were rotated since the Juve game.

Some rumours says there were scouts from Wolfsburg at Split- NK Zagreb game to have a look at Amir Rrahmani.
Actually i wouldn't be surprised as we know Schalke bought Ibraimi from Renova and Wolfsburg bought Hasani from Shkendija.
He will turn 22 in few days, it will be played between him and Veseli for a place in the team for the Euro.
Veseli is young but have better experience with Manchester City and United academy, and also semi finals of Euro U17 and win of the U17 World Cup with Switzerland. But Amir have some potential too, Both are young and interesting players, we must follow both of them.
