I wanted to go to Italy for the away game there but the timing is the worst possible for me as I can't take off from work.

Russia will not give visas to Albanians haha.

Sorry to push it but Paris CDG is still 30km away from City center and Taxis in France are expensive :D But you did well by choosing XL. last year i did Paris-JFK-Paris with XL Airways for 900€ during New Years period. Much more less expensive than United, American, Air France, etc..

That would be the latest problem for albanians but in this case Pjeter has US citizenship like most of albanians living abroad. Russia removed visa applications during Olympic games so i guess they'll do the same for the WorldCup finals.

We're not getting a taxi, we're renting an SUV (it's 5 of us) for 10 days for $400 as we are heading to Cote D'Azur from Lens right after the Swiss game. I know I paid €12/person last time to get to my hotel from CDG. It's not cheap at all.

Sorry for off topic, Metro starts in Paris himself and at the Paris's doors, the Airport is a bit farer but there is the suburb train and from Airport to city center it will be around 10€ per person.

I guess that's what I was referring to. I know I managed getting from airport to my hotel (St. Germain, Arr. 6) using trains in Paris. Anyway, enjoy your trip guys! I'll see if I can make the Lyon game vs. Romania, but not looking too likely. :flag:
